    Not a traditional circus experience

by Nola on 8/27/19UNO Lakefront Arena - New Orleans

This is an unapologetic cash grab. The second you walk in you are bombarded with vendors waving overpriced, cheaply made trinkets in your face. The prices for animal rides (pony/elephants), and photo ops are ridiculous. $10 for a 60 second pony ride, or $20 (per person!) for a couple minute elephant ride. I understand that they need to make a profit, but the overall quality did not match the pricing. The show itself was lackluster. The costumes were clearly subpar, and the majority of the acts were underwhelming. The best parts of the show were all the traditional circus acts (trapeze, elephant and tiger acts), but the rest of the acts were just simply boring. Not to mention that throughout the show the ringmaster is imploring the audience to buy light up toys and souvenirs. Do not go to this expecting all of the traditional circus acts and atmosphere, as they have been replaced by cheap tricks and overpriced trinkets and attractions. If you want to see some animals up close you may as well just go to the Zoo.

    Great show for younger kids

by Redragdoll21 on 8/27/19UNO Lakefront Arena - New Orleans

My 5 yr old LOVED the show. She had a smile on her face from ear to ear the entire time and tears when it was over. She wanted to go again the next day! Would have liked to have known ahead of time how much all the preshow festivities down on the floor before the show were going to cost. Glad that they accepted credit cards or else I would've had a very upset child. My almost one year old also sat through it as well and enjoyed it. My 12 year old at first seemed to be not so interested but caught her smiling, laughing and snapchatting the show the whole night! We enjoyed it very much.

We attended the afternoon matinee with our kids and grandkids. The acts were loud and exciting. The clown acts were very funny! Bring plenty of money!

    Expensive but catchy

by Mommaof2 on 8/27/19UNO Lakefront Arena - New Orleans

So whne you think the circus you think extravagant, right? This circus had it's ups and downs! As a Mom of 2, who well let's be honest, live comfortably but not THAT comfortable... this circus was a tad bit expensive. $20 per person to make one small circle on an elephant. $10 per person to jump in a bounce house. $10 for just a picture. $10 for a pony ride. I mean, we would have loved to allow the kiddos the opportunity to ride on an elephant... but by the time you pay the circus tickets, grab a drink for the fam, a little something to snack on and then even think about riding the elephants... you're already $100 in. The show had a lot of different things going on at one time so it was kind of hard to see all of it. Without feeling like you maybe were missing something. The music selections were really nice. There were a few malfunctions but overall it was a nice show. My kids enjoyed themselves... I just wish maybe they could have had more opportunities if their prices would have been more affordable.

Lots of activity for this circus!

by IowaWiner on 4/12/19U.S. Cellular Center - Cedar Rapids

What a great circus! From the tigers to the horses, the tight-rope walkers, the trapeze gals/guys, the light show, the superheroes, the dogs, goats, and of course the elephants. I took my 3-year old and my 6-year old. The 6-year old was glued the entire time. The music was amazing! A couple of themes from the "The Greatest Showman." There were a couple of moments during the clown act that my 3-year old lost interest, but other than that, best circus ever! The intermission included pony and camel rides, as well as inflatables, face painting, and photographs. Well worth the money. It started at 2 pm and we left the building at 4:30. Wow!
