GAELIC STORM IN CONCERT:

"High energy", "fun-filled", "tremendously talented", and "the ultimate party band" are just a few of the ways that ticket buyers have described Gaelic Storm in concert. The five-piece Celtic band specializes in blending traditional Irish music with modern rock, whipping up a dance-ready sound that appeals to music lovers of all kinds. At their raucous live performances, you'll see rock fans who love the band's infectious energy alongside folk fans captivated by their entertaining stories. Along with fun renditions of traditional Irish and Scottish music, the band is also famous for their crowd-pleasing comedic banter and their easy ability to engage the crowd with sing-a-long favorites like "What's The Rumpus?" and "Drink The Night Away". With no signs of slowing down, Gaelic Storm is an unmissable live act that concertgoers won't want to miss.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Led by founding members Patrick Murphy and Steve Twigger, Gaelic Storm started playing at pubs in 1996 in Santa Monica, CA, stunning audiences with their modern take on Celtic music. Their big break came in 1997 when they appeared onscreen as the steerage band in the Oscar-winning film Titanic performing "An Irish Party In Third Class". The exposure led to extensive touring and they've since performed throughout US, Canada, UK, Japan, and France. They've also become a staple on the cruise ship circuit, where they've toured alongside major acts like Bare Naked Ladies, Zac Brown Band, The Beach Boys, and Michael Franti. Their tenth album, 2014's Full Irish, compiled the band's greatest hits from 2004-2014 and became their fifth consecutive release to top the Billboard World Albums chart.

Fun show, but they need to headline again

by Kevin on 3/26/24Chevalier Theatre - Medford

Noting against the High Kings, but Gaelic Storm is too talented to be an opening act. GS has a ton of great songs. They need to headline their own tour again.

    Great Concert!

by Mac on 3/25/24Premier Theater at Foxwoods Resort Casino - Mashantucket

The High Kings and Gaelic Storm concert on 3/22/2024 was absolutely great! The venue was not too huge, but was very comfortable. All the venue attendants were extremely helpful all night. I would definitely come back for another similar type of concert (Irish music). I wouldn't mind the concert being on a Saturday, though, as the 8:00 start on a Friday took a lot of energy out of me. But I wouldn't pass up another such opportunity for such a concert again on a Friday or a Saturday. Thanks!

This was the third time seeing Gaelic storm. They are always entertaining and never disappoint! The catchy tunes ring in your head for days later. It’s always fun and uplifting to see this great band perform! The lead singer is always funny and makes me laugh. I’ll be going again next year!
