What a great show. This is totally my kind of music, my kind of setting. Great Cabaret singing, great patter, intimate setting and all in all an excellent show in a perfect venue. Just wish parking in the neighborhood were a bit easier, but BART is a mere few blocks away. I SO love Society Cabaret. and am happy to have just discovered them.
I spent a delightful Halloween evening at Ca Boo Ret presented by the talented founders of Society Cabaret. Although the crowd was sparse due to a week of Giants Madness, the team performed with gusto. The program consisted of Halloween themed music such as Witchcraft, Love Potion # 9 and The Theme From Bewitched. The show room had been decorated with pumpkins, ghosts, spider webs and twinkling lights. There were a number of rolicking audience sing alongs. Performers G Scott Lacey, Christopher Nelson, Paula Heitman and Tim Heitman all shone in their solo and group performances. It was a most enjoyable evening of Halloween fun!
Sadly enough Cabaret is almost a dying art at this time so featuring local talent is a great idea as to help revive it and at the same time give the performers a chance to shine. The show was very good and so were the performers, specially the last one
Joana Gray opened the show with a wit and sparkle that set the tone for the rest of the evening! Highly recommend this show and venue!

I absolutely loved it! The very talented singers really captured the essence of Sondheim. Such an intimate venue I felt as though they were singing to me. They had me laughing and they had me crying. The perfect range of emotions as far as I'm concerned.
Society Cabaret is wonderful! The venue is lovely, fabulous seating, prompt service and great drinks. Scott Lacey is an amazing talent bringing us fabulous artists for everyone to hear. You won't be disappointed!
