Terrible Sound. I've played louder music on my personal DJing equipment. Completely unorganized. Awful MC's hosting the show. Was nice seeing the artists but whats the point if the sound is so bad. Even they were asking to turn the music up and to fix their mics. Speaking of mics....soooo much feedback. Awful show.
This was the worst concert I have ever been to. I am not sure what was worse - the overall production, the MC or the sound quality. If you want nostalgia, invite friends over and download your favorite sounds from these artists.
First of all there was no notice that Stevie B would not be there. The MC was AWFUL!!!!!!! The stage looked like a stage in an auditorium. They started breaking down the stage as Lisa Lisa was performing which I thought was real tacky!!! If there was a way to get my money back I would.
Not only was the main person we went to go see not there due to personal issues, the sound was AWFUL! In a place like the Dunkin Donut Center you would think they would have perfected the sound so that EVERYONE could enjoy it, including those of us in the back. We attended the same show at the Providence Performing Center back in October and I would give that show 5 stars, last Saturday there were a group of 10 disappointed fans.
I was very pleased with the show. I had a lot of fun singing along with All of the performers! It was a great night! Looking forward to seeing them again next year!!
This concert was the worse concert I have ever attended. First, the main actor was not performing due to being arrested the night before. With that said, customers should have had some kind of discount for the inconvenience hence why many people went to this concert. Second, the sounding was so muddled that you couldn't even make out the lyrics to the song being sung. Third, many of the artists lip sang which again the DJ or the sound man did not complete their job correctly and the acts were atrocious. Fourth, on the corner of the stage, people were taking picture and hanging out as performers were on stage; VERY unprofessional!
I have attended this concert quite a few times. This was the worst production I have ever seen!! The MC for the night was completely unprofessional and dragged on and on. We did NOT pay good money ($70/ticket) to watch him sing, dance or attempt to tell jokes. We DID however pay to see Stevie B (who was not there), TKA, Johnny O and Cynthia and Lisa Lisa. I was impressed with TKA because they actually performed like professionals. Cynthia was good as well as LIsa Lisa. Unfortunately, the MC stalled sooooo long that it was torturous to stay until the end of the show. I think the performers were embarassed as well. I think that if a different production company organized this concert, it would be far more enjoyable. Until that happens I will not be promoting it.
Really went to see Stevie B! I was very dissapointed to find out that he was not going to be there. Announcer was very irritating and dragged out the program. Aucoustics were bad and not loud enough.
This was the worst show I have ever gone to, and I have been to many. I saw Stevie B before and had a great time. 1st I paid $80.00 for my tickets bought 2. Stevie B did not perform. It was so unorganized and the sound was terrible. There were 2 speakers on the stage facing in. The fist performance was a teen doing a hip hop act. Sorry didn't wanna pay $80.00 to see some kid dance. It was just horrible.
this was the worst show i have ever seen...not one instrument was on the stage. there were 2 girls dancing,that looked liked they were pulled from the local strip club.after 2 singers they finally decide to bring out a d.j...steve b didnt even show up,we were told he was arrested..im guessing to fill time they had a couple of guys dancing... that got old very quick!!!! for the amount of money. definately,dont waste your money.
