    Just ok

by KT on 4/25/23Hollywood Casino at The Meadows - Washington

The venue itself is absolutely laughable (not in a comedic way). We were pushed into a tent with folding chairs, terribly long lines for the bar… and NO HEAT!!! The venue was 55 degrees the entire time. We had to go back through an outdoor hallway to use the restroom, which we spent most of inside because we were so cold!! It was so cold that the bar tenders started offering our party seats closer to the front and even at one point handed us our jackets because we were shivering. The comedian was just ok, all political which is fine for some people. But we will never come back to the venue again. Absolutely not worth the price of the circus show of a tent that we had to sit under.

    Came out swinging

by PGH fan on 4/25/23Hollywood Casino at The Meadows - Washington

Little leery after other reviews stating wasn’t as good as last time but I thought he was better than the last time we saw him at least 10 years ago. It’s a comedy show he made us laugh at current events and his old school imitations. Interacted with the audience and even the Moth!

    Event Mgr.

by Sammy on 4/25/23Hollywood Casino at The Meadows - Washington

Frank was just good, not very good or great, just good! The event tent was very cold and when we asked to have the staff close the outside doors, they said no. Everyone was cold the first 45 minutes. Event Mgr. said they were starting in 8 minutes at 8 pm. They started at 8:40! The pre-music was way way to loud and not good. Tickets were expense based on the performance. I have seen Frank C. twice before and he was much better. doubt I will go to the venue again, not because of the performance but the venue is better for music than comedy.

    Good show; cold venue!

by Gary on 4/25/23Hollywood Casino at The Meadows - Washington

The show was great. Especially after a moth flew into Frank's face and he basically improv'd his set from that point on! However, the casino tent was freezing. Apparently, it has no heat and they didn't think to bring in a few portable heaters to, at least, take the chill off. Since the casino has ongoing shows I don't know why they don't just build a permanent theater with full HVAC!!

    Moth Show!

by LAK on 4/25/23Hollywood Casino at The Meadows - Washington

Wife and I have seen Frank several times and he never disappoints! The show was great, when he was doing an impersonation and a moth flew right into his face, was the talk of the show after that. Frank even said that show would known as "The Moth Show" so if anyone in attendance would hear him refer to "The Moth Show" we would know it was our show that he would be referring. Great times and would see again. Meadows Event Center is a tent attached to the casino however, so if it's cold outside, you might want to bring a jacket.

    Good but not great

    by J. R. on 4/14/22Genesee Theatre - Waukegan

This was the second time seeing Frank and my first time was better than this one. He seemed off and he even mentioned a few times "that's what I get for being a second show in 2 years". I know Covid caused cancellations over the past few years. I still enjoyed the show but I know he was better than what I saw that night.

    Very clunky

by Shaftmn on 3/22/22Genesee Theatre - Waukegan

This is the second time I saw him. The first time was so much better. He just seemed off for some reason. Did not expect a lack of laughter from the crowd which totally threw off his game. If he comes back, I would go see him but if I have other things to do instead, that would take priority.

    Frank Caliendo’s Show -THE. BEST.

    by P. F. on 3/22/22Genesee Theatre - Waukegan

Frank Caliendo show was laugh out loud funny! He somehow magically is absolutely hilarious without being political or profane. If you have a chance to see him you must go because it will be one of the best nights of your week.

    Not funny

by Becky on 3/22/22Genesee Theatre - Waukegan

Frank's opening act was much funnier! Frank basically just did random impersonations without any story/act to go with them. When doing Morgan Freeman, he was basically narrating , and there goes Frank walking across the stage because he doesn't know what to say. I wouldn't pay to see him again.
