BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
In 2009 six members from two different Los Angeles-based reggae bands -- Rudeboy Roots and Irie State of Mind -- teamed up to form the supergroup Fortunate Youth. They made their recording debut with the 2010 EP Up-Lifted before releasing their first full-length album, 2011's Irie State Of Mind. In 2012 they toured heavily alongside acts including The Expendables, Tribal Seeds, Dirty Heads, and The Wailers, earning a reputation as a must-see live band. A year later they released their critically acclaimed sophomore album It's A Jam, a rootsy collection of reggae tracks with that rose to No. 1 on Billboard's Reggae Charts and iTunes' Reggae Charts. With a new album in the works and a rapidly growing fanbase, Fortunate Youth continue to deliver joyous and unmissable live performances.
I love FY. Dan Kelly and the guys put out so much energy, spreading their positivity, love and kindness to everyone in the audience. I've seen them 5 times and can't wait til they come close to Pennsylvania so i can see them again! The last show I seen was amazing, towards the end DK lifted a young girl suffering of cancer up on stage for her to join in. The band embraced her, letting her sing along. Awesome People! One Love ❤️
FY and Culture Room put on a killer show! Best FY concert that I've seen and have been to over a dozen. The sound and size of the venue are perfect. Definitely get tix to the place whenever your fav band plays - won't be disappointed.

Love these guys and can’t wait for them to come back to town. Highly recommend seeing them. First time I seen them was in 2011 in Seaside NJ. They blew me away and have been a fan since day one!! Much love and respect.

Fortunate youth was awesome. Ive seen them many times and they did not disappoint. This venue, however, is the worst in the Boston area. The layout is awful and hard to move in and out when its crowded. The drink prices are outrageous. We arrived at 7:50pm to ensure we got tonsee Fortunate Youth for their 8pm set time. As we walked in they were 2 sings in. At the end of the show we approached the merch table and they were told they had to immediately pack up and get out to accommodate another show. They booked two shows in one night?! What a cash grab. Thats not fair to the acts or the fans. Will never purchase tickets for this venue again.
What a great show….the venue was amazing for a fun up close experience and for the price you can’t go wrong!!!
