I took my daughter and her friends and grandmothers for my daughter's 18th Birthday celebration. The show as fun, uplifting and very professionally done. We all had a great time. The music was wonderful. The dancing and singing just as good.
We recently saw Rent at the same theater and it was better than Broadway. Sadly, this performance was not even at highschool standards. The talent was decent but not great and the blocking was odd. At intermission we debated leaving. It was not horrible but for what we paid I was shocked at the deliverable show.
We saw Footloose with long-time friends. We had a great time. The cast was energetic and obviously having fun and enjoying themselves. We felt that vibe throughout the entire production. The venue is amazing. Getting in and out of the lot was easy and everyone in the theater was friendly and courteous. This is our second event in the last 6 months. We will be back.
I took my 10 year old granddaughter and she loved every minut of it. It was cute to see her applauding with great enthusiasm as the cast came out at the ent.
Excellent production! Many local actors from the area. Especially liked the young man who played Willard. Saw the show twice and plan on attending other events at the Sugarloaf Theater!
Just watched the Gulf Breeze High School of "Footloose!" Forget the fact that these are high school kids...they were all incredibly talented performers. All their vocals were spot on! At least 10 of them have the talent to be professional actors Now. Any time you have the chance to see a GBHS Drama performance, do it! It's definitely worth the time & ticket!
I took my children to this show and they both loved it my 5 year old was glued to her seat the whole time.
It was fun and energetic, loved it! Had to review a concert for my music class but would recommend this to anyone looking for something different and fun to do!
It was a great performance by all of the young men and women.
I could not be more proud of all the kids and I thought the production team did a great job.This was the first year my son was in the show and I am so looking forward to next year.I know all the long hours everyone put in and it was well worth it! GREAT SHOW!
