The performance overall was amazing. The costumes were gorgeous, the choreography was beautiful as always with Five Flags Dance Academy. However, some performers were involved several times. It is just extremely lengthy.
If I could I’d leave 0 stars! This was the WORST experience EVER! Holding 8+ costumes for 30+ min. Then having to lay them down for our bags to be searched (for my 2 dancers) in the middle of the day was ridiculous (hello we live in Florida, it’s HOT or could start raining at any second...then what happens if it starts raining?!)! Then NOT having a break whatsoever between the shows was terrible. We (dancers, Dance Moms/dads etc. & family) didn’t get a chance to eat from 11am-close to 10pm! Not acceptable especially when one is a toddler, plus when the girls (boys too) have been dancing ALL day! Then leaving the building for less than 30 minuets to just go back in! We’re already EXHAUSTED! This recital was WAY longer than it was when it was just 1 recital in itself! Extremely displeased with 2018 Five Flags Dance Academy’s Recital! Especially since we had to pay DOUBLE for both shows and we were only able to stay for 1/2 of the 2nd show...and everything we saw during the second show was mainly what we saw from the 1st show! Ridiculous!
The was a lot of talent no doubt. The production was just too long
It is always an enjoyable show to watch. Miss Diane puts on a great review and all the parents come yo watch their little ones in the pretty costumes.
