In First Wives Club, based on the smash hit 1996 film and Olivia Goldsmith’s bestselling novel, three former college friends reunite to find that they have more in common than their alma mater! Ditched by their respective husbands for younger women, they band together to settle scores with the men who did them wrong. Featuring a new book by Linda Bloodworth-Thomason (Designing Women), known for having created some of popular culture’s most empowered female characters, songs – both original and classic – by Motown legends Holland-Dozier-Holland, and direction by Simon Phillips (Priscilla, Queen of the Desert: The Musical), First Wives Club is a hilarious and inspiring story about friendship at its strongest… and revenge at its sweetest.

First Wives Club the Musical was absolutely phenomenal! The 3 main women were out of this world amazing! I loved every second of it! I wish I could have seen it again! I even liked it better than the movie...and I LOVE the movie!!
The show was well staged. From the start to the finish. We acted and good music. The story flowed. No slow spots.I would see it again.
Awesome play, awesome cast, felt like I was on stage with them. Rocked many emotions...
Musical had forgettable songs and average singers who sounded shaky on the big notes. Story is funny at times, but skims over meat of the work the women getting revenge plan. Morty's girlfriend was excellent and stole the show. This was an OK use of a rainy March Sunday afternoon, but I probably would not recommend it. Glad I had half-price tix to a less-than full-house showing. This reminded me of how good the movie was and made me want to see that again...
Such an easy going, light hearted play and hapily, it followed the movie quite nicely! The cast was great, especially the female actresses who played the roles of Elise and Annie. Both actresses did their homework and really channed Goldie Hawn and Diane Keaton! They man who played Duane was hilarious as well!
This was a very delightful musical, great singing and acting! Loved it!
Amazing. I really enjoyed and had a wonderful time.
The musical itself was fine if a little longer than necessary. Not the best I've seen, not the worst. I loved the simplicity and clean lines of the sets. This allowed for more concentration on the performers (IMHO.) I was most entranced by Morgan Weed (Shelly), who in my opinion stole the show! The music was wonderful and there were some gasp out loud moments. I'm glad I went, but knowing what I now know, it wouldn't have been a great loss to have missed it.
I thoroughly enjoyed the musical. The cast were amazing and made each character believable. They are very talented. The story and songs were great. I went with two girlfriends and we laughed a lot through the show. I highly recommend it!
