This is my second time seeing Finish Ticket and I'm always amazed at how much energy they put out. Simply stated, they are one of the best live bands out there. I love their recorded music but it pales compared to what they do in front of an audience. I am hooked and will go see them every time they come to town!
The concert was awesome from start to finish. Run River North was exceptional and set the stage for Finish Ticket who sounded out of this world. They are going to be headlining and selling out arenas in no time. Highly recommend seeing them play. One of the best concerts I have been to.
I went to this concert for Vinyl Theatre and they were perfectly amazing! I could tell that Keegan was sick, but he still sang his heart out. And seeing that made me so much more into the band then i already was. Finish Ticket was rad too! Their set wasn't the best i couldn't hear the lead singer over the drums but the crowd loved them so i went with it. I was extremely happy with this concert .
Patternist was simply not good music. Their lead singer really stretched to hit notes, and the instruments did not always seem in harmony. Finish Ticket was arguably the best of the 3 bands, coming on with gusto and talent. Vinyl Theater was good, but it seemed there were some issues with projecting the microphone of the lead singer, which left much to be desired for tracks that sounded so great on record, such as Breaking Up My Bones. As for the crowd, it seemed like a bunch of teens that were all hopped up on redbull (some possibly on actual drugs) and quite annoying for anyone over the age of 21 trying to simply have a beer and listen to some music. Overall the two main acts were good music and worth the crowd and having to sit through Patternist, but it could have been much better.
Wow, this show was amazing. I love their music, and this band is even better LIVE. Brendan (lead singer) has so much energy and charisma -- and that VOICE. He can soar to the high notes but his voice is sweet all over the place. Great songwriter too. High marks to every member of the band too. Crowd was engaged from the first song to the last. Many hard-core fans - they know all the words and recognize the songs from the first few notes.
It was a small crowd but they all acted like they were playing for a big one. If they were disappointed with the crowd at all you would have never known. You could see they were very pumped up and was happy to see all their fans. Was a fantastic night and they preformed like the amazing bands they are. Seeing them live is like being there in a music studio with them. They sounded perfect in every way!.
Both FT&VT were amazing! They loved the crowd and were very interactive, but I must say that FT took the show. The lead singers vocals sound even better live, the artists were more connected with the audience, their lights acting as a great accent peice, and they did a cover of one my my personal favorite bands, the Killers. Don't get me wrong though, VT is still an amazing band and definitely put on a wonderful shows, but FT was a very hard act to follow.
I came for Vinyl Theatre and they were fantastic! Cemetery Sun and Finish Ticket were great also!
I was in the very front which made everything 4639582x better. They were so amazing with crowd interaction and overall!!! They even stayed after the show to meet fans :)
One of the best concerts I have ever been to. Everyone that played had so much energy and sounded perfectly. These guys are so worth seeing!
