    Fiddler On The Roof

An excellent show. Go see it! The dancing was energetic. This show is prevalent now as it was back in the day it was created. I loved how the cast dedicated their performances to the people of Ukraine. Very moving for them and the audience.

    Timely Even Today

by Trip on 5/25/22Cadillac Palace - Chicago

Although the production is set in the early 1900’s, the theme is one that stands the test of time. The story about a man dealing with changing times, a story about a group of guileless people being displaced by a British force are both things we can relate to today. The singing in this production is emotional. The dancing is fun to watch. The storyline is one that evokes interesting conversations. We highly recommend this production.

A terrific Performance with a touching end.

by Joe T. on 5/25/22Cadillac Palace - Chicago

A performance in keeping with prior outstanding performances. The end was most touching with the reference to the history of the Jews getting forced out of Russia and the Russian invasion of the Ukraine. Stateing that the cast stands with the People of the Ukraine.

    Tried and true

by Jackies on 5/24/22Cadillac Palace - Chicago

A well-loved and reliable show that always resonates. I thought Tevye and Hodel were both outstanding, with Tevye being not larger than life, and therefore easy to relate to. Golde's singing voice was not always in key, which was disappointing.

    Wonderful tine at the theater

by Christine on 5/24/22Cadillac Palace - Chicago

It was an excellent performance. I thought all the preformers knew the souls of the characters they were portraying. Especially Lazarov as Tevye who managed to hit the comedic and dramatic nites with grace and style. I enjoyed the staging of the dream sequence with the stilts and extended fingers and odd masks. I also appreciated little touches, such as the constible always mispronouncing Tevye.

The performance was awesome! Wearing masks not so much

by Deedles on 5/24/22Cadillac Palace - Chicago

The show was fantastic but why masks were mandatory when the CDC has lifted the mask mandate is beyond me.

Enjoyed the story line come to life. Audio at times difficult to hear so missed some dialogue. Dancing is good but choreography was average.

    Loved it

by janb on 5/24/22Cadillac Palace - Chicago

Had great seats in the first row of the dress circle center. The show and performers were outstanding. My only comment was the stage seemed a bit dark at times. I kept wishing the lights were brighter.

    Fiddler on the Roof

    by Brey1222 on 5/23/22Cadillac Palace - Chicago

Great show. Teve played the part wonderfully. First act was funny, energetic and awesome. Second act hammered home the horrors faced by the Jewish people during that time. I highly recommend seeing this.
