Festival Of Nations Tickets

My daughter loved it, as did I. The dancers were all energetic and fun to watch. Our only complaint was that we wished it started earlier - it was a late night for her.

With the aromas of a variety of ethnic foods wafting to the rafters of the Civic Theatre I sat down to a throughly enjoyable evening of dance, music, and performance. I commend the Celtic Eagle Pipe Band, German Family Society, Shri Kalaa Mandhir, O'Hare Irish Dancers, Elinopoula Dancers, Ohana Aloha, and Tam Tam Magic on their authentic presentations of their respective traditional performance styles. The food, the interactive booths, and the performances gave the night a true festival feel, all within the friendly confines of the beautiful Civic. I especially enjoyed the audience participation aspect of many of the performances which led to the crowd clapping, chanting, and moving along with the performers onstage. I wanted to jump up onstage and join in on the social dances of the German Family Society, Elinopoula, and Ohana Aloha Dancers. All in all it was an affordable, accommodating, and enjoyable evening. I'm already looking forward to next year.
