Felly In Concert
Felly's showmanship takes cues from the likes of ‘90s SoCal icons Sublime, as he exudes a slacker-rock style, but with the Gen Z hip-hop aesthetic on par with Post Malone's nonchalant rockstar rap. On stage, the rapper and beatmaker channels a mischievous insouciance that harks back to the naughty side of California Dreamin'. Yet, Felly's chilled-out antics paired with his intoxicating urban flow might seem incongruous. The 22-year-old artist is creating a whole new style of his own, dubbing it "Surf Trap," a sound he further solidified in 2018 with his second studio album of the same name. His getup, too, goes well with his unique mashup: the USC alum often sports beanies atop his dirty-blond shag, combined with brightly hued baggy clothing; Beach Trash, his clothing line, features a similar aesthetic. Whether trapping, rocking, or beach bumming, Felly's performances are guaranteed to bring plenty of breezy thrills.
Felly Background
Born Christian Robert Felner in 1995, the Trumbull, Connecticut artist is truly a product of the iGeneration. As a preteen, the prodigy made a name for himself, experimenting with beats and songwriting and posting them on YouTube, SoundCloud, and Bandcamp. While he launched myriad musical projects as early as 2011, 2014 was the year he released his proper full-length album, Waking Up to Sirens, which features a whirlwind of styles: skittering jazzy riffs, smooth rap bars, and breezy atmospherics. The following year, he proved his prolific prowess, dropping a cluster of albums like Milk & Sugar, This Sh*t Comes in Waves, and Instrumentals (Best of 2013-2015). Then came 2016's Young Fel. And with 2017's Wild Strawberries, Felly produced a more radio-friendly pop sound and cemented himself as one of trap's most versatile acts. This led to the creation of 2018's Surf Trap, his full-length major debut record.

First time seeing Felly live and he has really great stage presence. The energy was up the whole time and he had good interaction with the audience, espcially with the more intimate venue size. Overall positive experience and would see him again if he came back to Austin. Also a note on Antone's - small but cozy venue with good drinks. There are food trucks across the street still open late even on Sundays so thats a great spot to hit after.
literally the best concert I’ve ever been to. The atmosphere was amazing and the set list was so good. His overall stage performance was amazing. 10/10 would recommend
I had a great time at the show; the venue was great, the personnel were helpful, and the performance was amazing. Only issue I had was that my tickets on the app required me to go to the will call and go through a tedious process that not everyone had, but it wasn't a huge deal.
The ballroom was awesome and the performers were even better. Been a fan of all three artists since they started putting out music. It was phenomenal :)
Huge fan. Great venue. Unforgettable performance! East 5/5!
I loved how intimate the venue was! The bartenders were also super attentive and quick. Getting to meet Felly at the end was the best part - he's so personable!
The small venue allowed for them to interact with the fans a lot and overall it is a concert I will not forget
I got the meet and greet package to see Felly at the Stone Pony in Asbury Park. The concert was awesome, he performed most of his biggest songs. Gyyps was great as well, and the crowd totally lost it when they played Gorilla and Ali together. Felly is a great performer, especially for someone with limited tour experience. He was great at hyping up the crowd and keeping everyone engaged. He also played some unreleased music which was sick. When I spoke to him for the M&G he was super cool and nice, and took the time to talk to everyone and didn't rush. It was a great experience and totally worth the trip up from Maryland/DC area.
Amazing performance and he is so nice to talk to!!
