Great performance by some of hip hop's best

    by Remy1876 on 2/8/13Howard Theatre - Washington

Great concert. I'm glad they got this tour together. They still have the energy and it was great from start to finish. J Swift really set it off at the start playing the album intro on the keyboard and they did the whole album from start to finish without much interruption. My only complaint was just this though, they did the whole album from start to finish. Bizarre Ride is a classic record, and I know the concert was named Bizarre Ride, but it's an injustice to their great catalog for them to only perform a couple of songs outside the album. Regardless it was a great show and it was great seeing them together 20 years after.

Fun concert! The first opening act (BIC) was terrible and obnoxious, but the rest of the show was great. The Pharcyde had lots of energy and hung out after the show for photos and autographs.

Pharcyde put on a great show at The Howard Theatre

    by JParker227 on 2/5/13Howard Theatre - Washington

The Pharcyde has been one of my favorite groups since 92, I was very upset when I heard that only 2 of the original members (Fatlip and Slim Kid Tre) would be performing and I was even more upset when I saw that the other 2 members were performing in Colorado the same night as the Pharcyde as well. I must say that this show delivered, the performed every song from Bizarre Ride and did a great job even with the absence of Imani and Booty Brown. As expected the highlight of the show was "Passing Me By" and "On The DL", the guys that rapped Imani and Booty Browns lines were adequate but was not as good as the originals. I really hope this group can reform in the past because we would be missing out on some really good memorys and the fans deserve it. The Howard Theatre is an excellent venue.
