About

Far East Movement's unique combination of hip hop, electronica and dance beats has proven a recipe for success -- even soccer dads in Starbucks can't help but shake it when “Like a G6” bumps from the speakers. They've collaborated with big names like Snoop Dogg, M.I.A., Tyga and Rye Rye, and they’ve also been on tour numerous times with acts like J. Cole and Kid Ink, in addition to doing their own solo concerts. Selling out tickets worldwide, Far East Movement puts on more than just a concert. The charisma of their music is only matched by their wildly bold and blingy fashion. Often one of the marquee acts of various festival tours, lucky ticket holders find themselves immersed in a world that’s part club, part concert, part rave and parts never expected for a live show. The hardest ticket to get for any of Far East Movement's shows was their performance at President Obama’s Inaugural Ball in January 2013.

Hailing from LA's Koreatown, original members Kev Nish, Prohgress and J-Splif first took the stage in a benefit concert for a local teen rehab center. A few years later, their first hit single, "Round Round," was featured in The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift and catapulted the band into the spotlight. The first Asian-American group to hold the top spot on the Billboard Hot 100 in the US with their single, "Like a G6," Far East Movement continue to reach their fans with recent singles, such as "Live My Life," "For All," "Change Your Life" and a recent feature and UK hit, "Get Up (Rattle)" with Dutch producers, Bingo Players. Their most recent album, Dirty Bass, features collaborations with Justin Bieber, Pitbull and producer will.i.am.

    Fun with a few flaws

by kixy1104 on 11/10/12San Manuel Indian Bingo and Casino - Highland

So it was totally awesome that all three bands came out to San Manny Casino which is right by my house and my usual hangout spot... I was pretty excited. The show started about an hour late and it was just too long. By the time baby bash and sean kingston finished performing, I was ready to run downstairs to play blackjack. Far East Movement was super awesome and the best performance of the night... I was just ready for the show to be over by the time they came out though. Overall, it was great entertainment and I had a good time.

Great performance. Very energetic. Enjoyed a lot. The performers were graciously enough to stay and interact with the audiences after the concert.

Hyper Crush reminds me of my childhood in the 80s and I loved the show.

    Amazing

by HIWADav on 8/25/10Showbox SODO - Seattle

This show had the SODO Lounge bouncing from start to finish. DJ Eye opened with a great set and Hyper Crush killed it. Far East Movement rocked as well and did a great surprise ending with all artist on stage. These groups are super personable and love their fans. If you get to see any of them in concert it is a nonnegotiable.

    AMAZING SHOW

by Hypercrushaddict on 8/25/10Showbox SODO - Seattle

Hyper Crush owned this concert. Their stage presence is outstanding and they know how to get the crowed going. You can tell that they honestly do care about fans because they reach out in the crowed and even Preston crowd surfed. They also signed autographs and took pictures with fans after the show. Holly is the sweetest girl ever! They played all of their top songs, which definitely pleased the fans. Far East Movement was really great too. They got the crowd into their songs for sure. In my opinion, they weren't as good as Hyper Crush live but the finale with both bands was outstanding. Overall, this was one amazing show. I am looking forward to the next time Hyper Crush is in town.

Lazer Tag Tour w/ Hypercrush & Far East Movement

by Piffany on 8/25/10Showbox SODO - Seattle

Let me just start by saying this show was AMAZING! Everyone was having a good time, it was one big party. Yeah it could have started w/o the long wait (2 hours+), but I'm pretty sure no one ever really does expect these things to start on time. Hypercrush, Far East Movement and DJ Eye certainly made up for it starting late though. Holly's (Hypercrush) mic could have been turned up a little tiny bit more, there were parts it was hard to hear her in, but other than that the sound was perfect. All in all a great night! Thanks Hypercrush, DJ Eye, Far East Movement, The Showbox SODO, HK Army and the Lazer Tag Tour! Let's do it again sometime!
