    Fang Island Is Amazing!

by Bojangles123456789 on 9/4/12Music Hall of Williamsburg - Brooklyn

So the venue was first of all really nice. It was in a really nice part of Brooklyn, the building was pretty large, it was great. The first opening act was Infinity Shreds who were ok. They were passable. The next opener was Adebisi Shank who were really crazy and added a lot of energy to the place. Then Fang Island came on and totally rocked the entire place. Great concert.

    Life affirming

by itspeople24 on 7/24/12Bowery Ballroom - New York

Every note played was perfect in execution. Huge riffs, big finale, awesome mix of old and new songs. Friendliest pit ever. I couldn't keep a smile off my face the entire time. Both openers were tight as well.

    MOST JOYEST EVENT

by Pharoahmano on 7/23/12Bowery Ballroom - New York

if you like the sounds a guitar makes than you need to go see fang island. You will be doing yourself and everyone you know a disservice by not seeing them live. They strictly shred only joy notes i honestly never care to review via ticket master but this band warrants an awesome review

    Unbelievable

by effinfangislandyall on 3/14/11Bowery Ballroom - NEW YORK

This may have been the best show I've ever seen, starting from the opening bands, which were very enjoyable, particularly Hollerado, who I would have payed to see. Of course, Fang Island was the real reason to be there, and this crowd was clearly a crowd of fans. Everyone sung along to their infectious, chant-like vocals, the crowd was dancing in every corner of the room, and the obligatory front of the room "mosh pit" was super active and fun the whole time. The general vibe was friendly, communal, and great. The band played amazingly, improvising and clearly having an awesome time (but how couldn't they? Fang Island is the most fun music I can think of) and it showed.

    pure excellence

Never have I had that much fun at a show, Fang Island totally killed it. Hollerado was also excellent.

    What happened?

by LadyLive4 on 3/14/11The Bowery Ballroom - New York City

I was expecting a great show, but I left the show very disappointed! I saw them perform at The Bowery Ballroom this past Saturday, and I left the show with my friends, each asking ourselves and each other, what happened? I loved their album, and was looking forward to the show, but what they performed on stage played no resemblance to their album, and they were way too loud! One of their opening acts, Hollerado, was much better than they were, and I have to say the crowd enjoyed themselves more when they played than when Fang Island did. I was very surprised! Maybe they had a bad night, I don' know, but I would not recommend anyone to see them live based on what I saw at Bowery Ballroom.

    Miserable

by asearsb on 3/13/11Bowery Ballroom - NEW YORK

High school talent show feel. Bad noise. Nothing like produced album. Refund please? Worst concert in ages.

OMG THEY ARE FREKKIN AMAZING. If you love just plain rock concerts and great music this is the show for you. I saw them in a basement bar in Atlanta and as a result I am now obsessed.
