It's been along time since I've left a theatre where folks were as happy and as pleased with a performance as the audience that left Frog Kiss. The cast was wonderful and highly energetic. The play itself has the classic story line to be what you want to be but it is told in an upbeat, funny way. The word play makes for great humor. Curtis Holbrook as the Frog was fantastic and this is a very physically demanding role. Yes, it's a new play and still needs some tweaking. I hope the producers much success in getting this play on more stages.
Very refreshing, entertaining musical. Fast paced with outstanding vocals and dance. I hope it continues to do well and would see it again in a heartbeat.
First time at Wells Theatre and we could not have picked a better play. Loved it! We will be back.
My wife and I enjoyed Frog Kiss!!! It was her birthday and a new experience for us. We had a great time!!
My wife and I loved the excitement, jazz singing, marvelous dancing and many funny lines and acting flourishes that led to a good laugh. I hope we read about this good musical getting to Broadway.
The singing, music, dance, and acting were first-rate. The storyline seemed to periodically change speeds, and the ending seemed rushed, as though it was almost an afterthought. Overall it was great fun, worth going to see, and I would recommend it.
Took my girlfriend to see Frog Kiss for her birthday. We saw a show with a great story, amazing acting, vocals and dancing. It was funny, sexy, touching and we were completely entertained.I should also mention the great musicians who played the music. All around,a night to remember.
Fun, quality performance. May need some rewriting for more wow to make it to Broadway.
I thought it was fresh, relevant, compelling and flawless. Everyone involved came off as veteran entertainers. The show has great value and should end up on Broadway. Screw the critics.
