The show was funny, but its really hard to enjoy a show meant for adults with children sitting next to you. Since the parents are not smart enough to leave children home I feel show needs to have a age restriction . also some parts were very hard to hear and understand. I feel show needed a more professional stage presents and introductions.
The comedians were great! A good mix of different views on different topics. We had a great time. It was nice to start the night with and since your out by 10 there's still plenty of time to finish the night out with a few drinks at the bar! We will definetly be back next year!
I went last year and the place was packed. There were many more comedians and an mc to introduce each comedian. It felt exciting to be there on New Year's Eve last year. This year was strange with no MC and the evening was strange. I will definitely not do this next year. It was not the comedians fault. The comedians were funny and doing their job. Who ever organized this event, did not bring in the crowd and did not advertise it correctly. It should have been set up better.
Thanks to the four comedians for trekking up to Rochester. Your humor encompassed a variety of styles. Some of the jokes made fun of our habits and quirks and some made fun of the rich and famous. Some of the jokes were tasteful and others not so much. Tis show was not family friendly, especially the routine of the last comedian on stage. However, the mark of a good comedy show is being able to remember some of the jokes afterwards....which those in our group have done. One last thing, is the sound. At times it was difficult understanding the comedians. I think the show should have been in a smaller Venue. I was a bit miffed at paying a higher price for a prime seat. Due to a sparse crowd, those from lower priced seats were moved into prime seating. A refund of the difference would be a nde gesture.
Went last year and enjoyed it, was very disappointed by the 2012 event and will not be back. There was no MC but rather a recording-esque intercom announcement of the first comedian, the lack of MC made the 4-commedian show awkward and drawn out (even though 4 is fewer than last year). It was not worth the money and only 2 out of the 4 comedians were funny enough to warrant a google search afterwards. Lots of empty seats and lack of an MC show this was a poorly organized event.
First night of funny was absolutly hilarious! What a great show! We had an incredible time! Because the section 101 that we sat is on the floor and level with no incline it was hard for me to see over the woman's big hugh bushy hair in front of me since I am only 5'2. I could have used a childs booster seat like in the movie theaters.
Four of us went to the show; for the price we were thoroughly entertained! The comics were diverse enough that each of us had a giggle at various times.
Been to the first night of funny both years...great way to bring in the New Year...still have time to meet up with family/friends to bring in the New Year after a high dose of laughter! My wife and I have started what I hope is annual tradition.
Spectacular and hysterical! I would see it again in a minute.
