    Canada VS Enland

by RPomeroy on 9/13/15BC Place - Vancouver

What a fabulous experience to see your national team playing live is such a unbelievable experience. It was a great game but would have been nice if Canada would have won.

    More soccer fun!

by Soccerjulie27 on 7/28/15Winnipeg Stadium / Stade de Winnipeg - Winnipeg

While this match wasn't super entertaining given that it was the former world champions against a significantly lower-ranking team, we enjoyed it anyway. We had seats at the corner of the field where the teams entered and exited the field, so we were able to get a lot of great pics. It was difficult to find our seats because the numbering system was weird down in that corner. Thankfully there was a volunteer to help us out with that. As far as the game goes, we sat near a big group of Ecuador fans, which made the experience more fun, and it was so cool to see Ecuador keep the game close in the score. I mean, 0-0 at halftime is pretty impressive to keep Japan at. All in all, we had fun at this game, with it being our 3rd ever professional soccer event.

    Lots of soccer fun!

by Soccerjulie27 on 7/28/15Winnipeg Stadium / Stade de Winnipeg - Winnipeg

We went to Winnipeg for the first time to enjoy some women's World Cup soccer games at Winnipeg stadium. We had no expectations, and were pleased with our overall experience at these soccer games. As far as the stadium goes, it was super easy to find a bus to take us there, the bag inspection process before we entered the stadium was quick and painless. The ticket scanning process was quick, and the man at the concession stand who sold us our waters was super nice and explained the FIFA rules for not allowing us to keep the lid to the water bottle. Our favorite match was the China/New Zealand match because there was so much drama and excitement during it! The only thing we didn't like about this stadium was how crowded it gets in the walkway between the seating levels. It would be nice to attempt to have more designated lanes for traffic to move along, and discourage people from milling about everywhere. Maybe having a group hang out space would be helpful.

Unbelievable game! Any one who says women's soccer is boring has obviously not been keeping up these past few years. Let's keep the momentum going and support the NWSL!
