In 2013, Canadian DJ/producer Excision unveiled the "Executioner" video stage, a one-of-a-kind assault on the senses that perfectly complements his aggressive brand of dubstep. Combining 3D visuals, insane laser choreography, and a UFO-like capsule containing Excision himself, the "Executioner" has melted the minds of fans around the globe, making it one of the biggest draws in EDM. Following his adrenaline-filled 2013 shows, Excision has fans eagerly awaiting his 2014 tour dates, which feature a 150,000 watt bass system to accompany the whomp of the "Executioner."
Excision got his start in the Canadian dubstep scene working with fellow producers and countrymen Datsik and Downlink. His 2007 debut single "No Escape" quickly sold out, prompting a repressing and a slew of remix requests from notable EDM artists. In 2008 he kicked off the Shambhala series of mixtapes, releasing a new iteration every fall, culminating with the sixth volume of the series in 2013. On his 50-stop North American Execution Tour in 2013, Excision proved himself one of the most potent performers in dubstep, paving the way for another tour in 2014 with opening acts Dirtyphonics and ill.Gates.
