    More than just a concert.

by Dan on 3/3/24Lexington Opera House - Lexington

The greatest drummer of all time not only gave us a concert, he gave all of us a personal visit into his life. Carl and his band also provided a wonderful tribute to Keith Emerson and Greg Lake which made the experience unforgettable. I could not be happier with the event. I must also compliment the staff at the venue, the Lexington Opera House for their friendliness and hospitality.

    Not what I expected

by Mindy on 3/2/24Lexington Opera House - Lexington

I knew the chuckwagon song, trilogy, from the beginning and lucky man and that was it. I don’t expect to go to a concert and not know most of the material, particularly since the band has not been together for years and doesn’t have new material. Probably it was based on what was filmed and recorded the best in order to let Carl palmer play virtually with his former band Mate but it was really not very great. The drum solo was awesome but a little lengthy.

    Great show

by Laydio on 3/2/24Lexington Opera House - Lexington

We lived the way Carl chatted with the audience between songs and loved the two musicians besides him that were part of the show. During the show it was almost as if Greg was still alive. The drum solo was impressive but seemed lengthy. But that’s the only thing I didn’t love.

    Amazing show

by Jeff on 3/2/24Lexington Opera House - Lexington

Gonna start by saying I am not a huge ELP fan despite my age. Bought these tickets on a whim. Palmer is an AWESOME drummer and Bielatowicz and Fitzpatrick are excellent in their own right with amazing solos. I had no idea a 10 minute solo like that was possible, let alone when you are 73! The show, and Carl, were very respectful of his band mates. Made me a bit misty. Do it, you won’t regret it.

    Brought back so many memories

by Pat on 3/2/24Lexington Opera House - Lexington

They did a great job honoring the past of ELP. I was amazed at the talent of the performers. I had no idea you could make guitars sound like keyboards. The Lexington Opera House was also a great venue for a wonderful experience.

A thoroughly entertaining performance of ELP tunes!

by Dan on 3/2/24Lexington Opera House - Lexington

Carl Palmer, at 73, is still every bit as skilled and tasteful a percussionist as he was at the height of ELP. He puts on an amazing show, playing along with video of past ELP performances as well as performing creative and worthy interpretations of the ELP repertoire with two virtuoso performers, Simon F. and Paul B. If you’re an ELP fan, don’t miss this show.

    Excellent

by BrianP on 2/24/24Seminole Center - Immokalee

Too much lead guitar and not enough of Greg Lake singing. Carl Palmer was very humble and full of gratitude. His stage presence was fabulous! I fell in love with him. And SO talented. Unbelievable drummer. The best in the world. The guitars went on too long sometime. Loved it though.

    Brought back old memories

by Tom on 2/24/24Seminole Center - Immokalee

Enjoyed the show despite the absence of Keith Emerson and Greg Lake. Carl Palmer is an absolute incredible drummer and his other members are tremendously talented. Hoping to hear more of the greatest hits of ELP. Would see them again.
