    Fun!!

by YoungElvisLover on 1/8/13Thunder Valley Casino Resort - Lincoln

Surprised my husband for he's an Elvis fan. We definitely brought down the age curve of the audience, but the band and the impersonator was great! They had a great sense of humor and did great songs. The band did a good opening act and intermission by singing other great songs by Holly, Valentine, etc. Went with friends and had a blast! The only complaint had nothing to do with the act. They could put more space between the seats. I'm a petite person, and luckily no one was sitting next to me because my husband and our friend's husband ended up in between us ladies. So, I ended up sitting half on the empty seat so my husband and our friend could sit a little more comfortably. Like I said I'm petite, so even if my husband could sit on his seat comfortably our shoulders would be squished as well.

Elvis tribute performer had limit vocal range. Limited dance moves. Lacked sex appeal. Show defintely not worth any ticket price.

Elvis Presley Tribute by Steve Williams

by localladynamedBubbles on 1/7/13Thunder Valley Casino Resort - Lincoln

He was very good, especially on the older songs. The group playing with him was also fantastic on the oldies they did during the breaks and the "back-up" with Elvis. I don't understand all these older women who want to get scarves from the fake Elvis, seems silly to me, but I guess it is supposed to give you the flavor of the real Elvis. We had great seats, the price was good and the acoustics were wonderful, not too loud but just right. We had a great time.

Elvis was good, the band was outstanding !

by goupie on 1/6/13Thunder Valley Casino Resort - Lincoln

Elvis and his band took me back to the 50's and 60's. It was a very nice evening. I thought Elvis going out to the audience and singing to the women was a nice touch. I really loved his Bill Medley number. He has a stong voice, but could work on his moves more. The Band for their part was absolutely great, great, great ! Over all I enjoyed the show very much.

    The Elvis Presley Tribute

by HOPLA on 1/6/13Thunder Valley Casino Resort - Lincoln

We have been to many shows and this was one of the most entertaining we have attended. The preformers were just more than we could have asked for and if didn't know better you would have thought that voice was Elvis. The other part of the show was also a fantastic group. You were never bored as they totally kept everything moving and entertaining. My husband said as we got home "Do you think they will be here again and if so can we go see them for a second time." OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCE!!!

"Elvis" at Thunder Valley was a disappointment

by Graceland57 on 1/6/13Thunder Valley Casino Resort - Lincoln

I had high expectations for a most entertaining event when the exciting, California-based band, Ronny and the Classics, opened the Elvis Tribute show. These extremely talented musicians with great choreography immediately engaged the near-capacity crowd with renditions from the 50's by artists such as The Big Bopper, Ritchie Valens and Buddy Holly. However, once "Elvis" (Steve Williams from Memphis) walked on stage and began singing, I was greatly disappointed. Although he wore the trademark white jumpsuit complete with colorful sequins, he was overweight and donned an obvious wig. And although he had a strong, powerful voice, he was no match to the King. As an avid Elvis fan, I have particularly high standards for Elvis impersonators and prefer to pay to see talented artists such as Scot Bruce, who is appearing in Lodi on January 8 and who often performs in Tomorrowland at Disneyland, or Shawn Klush, the 2012 Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist.

    Elvis

by Imooch2 on 1/6/13Thunder Valley Casino Resort - Lincoln

Was so-so. His voice didn't even come close to real Elvis. The back up band was FANTASTIC. Would pay to see just them perform.
