Didn't think I would know that many songs

by queenanastasia21 on 1/27/15Caesars Palace - Las Vegas

Elton was fantastic. Im young so I didn't think that I would know that many songs but it was still amazing. My friend took me and I'm glad she did. Did a great job. I wouldn't recommend sitting on stage left because you can hardly see him because of the piano. He does walk to that side from time to time though. The first few rows get to go on stage with him for a few songs which is amazing and an honor. I wish that he changed a bit more. I mean Cher does and she is old. But yes if your looking for entertainment and he is performing while your in town you should stop by.

    Elton is GREAT

by JerriH on 9/30/13Caesar's Palace - Las Vegas

Elton John's Million Dollar Piano concert was wonderful. The man has so much talent, his band and backup singers were great as well. I do wish he'd replace "Indian Sunset" and "Empty Garden" with some of his more popular songs, but even with those lesser known songs, the show was great from start to finish. Loved the set design and his talks with the audience.

    I love Elton John but.......

by Geepa on 4/6/13Bridgestone Arena - Nashville

I was a freshman in college when my roommate brought in this album from this new guy - Elton John. We were blown away. So Elton has a special place in my musical heart. He does a great show. Lots of his standards. He puts in a lot of energy, gets the crowd going, etc. And his songs...... The only performer that has more classic songs that I have heard is a guy, what's his name? Paul something. At any rate, the performance was great. It's the venue that sucks. I heard The Who in the Bridgestone Arena a few months ago and I though the same thing: the sound is terrible. Granted, my hearing is not what it used to be. But they have the sound cranked waaaay too loud. It sounded to me as if his voice was distorting. The piano sounded good, as did the drums. But I could hardly hear the background singers. And the bass was just so-so. Everything sounded 'mashed together', if you will. There was the occasional feedback through someone's mike that told me they were cranking the sound a little too much. All-and-all a pretty good show. He did an encore and signed autographs prior to the encore. That made me wish I had brought my vinyl album covers for him to sign. (I was down on the floor.) One more criticism: The bank of spot lights/strobes was RIGHT IN FRONT of the video board over the stage. Couldn't EVEN see it from where I sat on the floor. Who's idea was that? I'm glad I saw Elton before he gets too old to tour. But the Bridgestone Arena is a terrible venue. Ryman Auditorium is much better.

by HeatherD1111 on 1/25/13Caesers Palace - Las Vegas

What a fun night! I didn't expect to love this show as much as I did. I highly recommend going. You will leave there with plenty of energy to hit the casinos too!

    Elton John show was fantastic!

by Shadooby on 12/26/12The Colosseum At Caesars Palace - Las Vegas

The entire show was amazing. The only thing I would change is allowing a bunch of people from the audience go onstage during the one song. I'm pretty sure they thought they would get them to dance onstage to the song, but the people just crowded around Elton John and took pictures, the rest of us who were still in our seats couldn't see anything while that was going on.

Elton John did not do all his hits specifically Candle In The Wind or Can You Feel The Love tonight. The music was ear splitting. Too loud.

    Elton Johns still rocks

by dee66762 on 11/14/12The Colosseum At Caesars Palace - Las Vegas

The Elton John concert was wonderful. He sang both old songs and new ones. He told great stories about how the lyrics and music for his songs are developed. The videos that play in the background are interesting because they span the years. The percussion players are really fun to watch. buy your souvenirs before the concert to beat the crowd at the end. Caesars Place is a great place to see concerts, but spend the money for good seats.
