We were wowed by Ellis Marsalis. He sat there motionless like the music was coming from his brain right into the tips of his fingers and what came out of the piano was simply amazing.
Ellis is one of our favorites & we hadn’t had the opportunity to hear him live. At 80+ years old, he still still feels the music.
This was an incredible night. Each of these artists presented a style of play that was exciting and uplifting. Some were sole, some had other musicians w/ them, some sang and some just played. Their talent was a joy to hear and watch. This is an event that all should see.
It got me in the Christmas mood. I loved it and so did my mom. Amazing artists.
