Needed to be more player friendly !

by Jgmdoyle on 1/28/14Rexall Place - Edmonton

The actually Skills was good. Great atmosphere, music and talent. I was disappointed that the players weren't friendly. This was filled with Oilers fan and only the new goalie stopped to sign jerseys. As soon as they started they quickly got on the ice. And when it ended they left. Should have had more interaction with fans!!

A fun time, but $12 for parking?

by Thoraxx on 1/24/11Rexall Place - Edmonton

The skills competition is always fun - especially for the kids. It's almost possible to forget how unsuccessful the team is these days. Two beefs, though. All the players who are not too injured to play should be required to be on the ice as a duty of employment (hear that, Khabibulin?) - there's no excuse for the goalie coach to have to suit up. Secondly, I was appalled that the full parking fee was charged. There's something wrong when the parking costs more than the ticket to the event.
