    Great evening of jazz

    First, the Yardbird Suite provides fabulous opportunities for jazz musicians in Edmonton. This volunteer-run venue is amazing. Chris Donnelly opened the night with an amazing demonstration of "classical" jazz. He has a masterful command of the piano. People were mezmorized by his performance - you could hear a pin drop! The Jerrold Dubyk quartet demonstrated why their new album won an award at the Western Canadian Music Awards last month. The music was fabulous and they obviously enjoyed performing together. We loved it so much, we bought the album!!!!
