Every year this event gets better and better, kudos to the event sponsors for putting together such an AWESOME line up...Next year will be bigger and better, I am counting in it!!!
Unfortunately they're trying to turn Scotty McCreery into something he is not. Dancing around and being more theatrical than actually doing what he does best: playing his guitar and singing into the microphone. He maybe played his guitar 25% of the time and danced around the rest of it which was disappointing because you can tell that is not who he is or wants to be. Eric Paslay was the best we thought and is going to be big as a performer and not just a writer. We were there over 6 hours and intermissions were about 45 minutes each. Overall the total concert was good but lasted WAY TOO LONG! Shorten the intermissions please.
I feel the event was great the venue however,drink prices in perticular were to high eight dollar coke realy eight for two?
Great venture of artists. I would like to see it in a smaller venture.
The bands were great, activities were fun and different, you had a great selection of alcohol and not just wine and beer and loved Astro was there with their photobooth
Great concert Josh Turner is always fantastic! Drove up from Richmond and stayed at Embassy Suites right by Coliseum. Great setup for out of towners attending a concert. Walking Distance. First time at Hampton Coliseum and would do it again!
This was our first time at this colisem and we will come back. All of the staff we dealt with were very helpful! The concert was filled with alot of talented singers which made staying for Josh Turner to perform very nice!
The acoustics were terrible until Gloriana came on and then the speaker on right side of the stage began to work. In the beginning it was hard to hear what the artists were saying. I was sitting in the Loge section G row 1. I have been to other concerts at this venue and didn't have this problem.
Took my 6 year old daughter to her first concert ever this weekend - Winterblast 2012. We were impressed by local talent Bria Kelly (boy, has she got a solid future ahead of her!) We fell in love with The Farm - who would have thought funky and fiddlin' could go hand-in-hand? And, well, what more can be said about Josh Turner...? The man has an olympic voice range, long legs, a crazy-sexy smile and classically catchy tunes. So looking forward to Winterblast 2013. The two of us WILL be back!
I really enjoyed the show. I thought there would be more artist involved.
