    E. Town Concrete

by Bergenite on 5/31/13Sports World - Bergen County

One of the best hardcore bands of OUR high school days. Too bad they threw in the towel when they were just about to make it. Now they are old and have kids. It's all good. Sometimes life gets in the way. Just wish Anthony would put on some new hardcore bands through his label because the bands he promotes are really weak and nobody from OUR scene has the stomach for that.

    No Nostalgia Act this time!

by AndrewMa on 2/24/12Starland Ballroom - Sayreville

E.Town's reunion shows in the past had a feel of old friends getting together to play some old songs. While that was a great atmosphere for the first couple of years, the 2012 show decided to freshen things up a bit. The band looked different. They were energized and - frankly - thinner. They opened the show with a new song. And lead singer Anthony Martini even showed some of his own maturation by acknowledging he has gotten a little tired of some of his more juvenile raps.

Good show, aside from one little problem...

by Anonymous on 2/20/12Starland Ballroom - Sayreville

Well, the show was good, but as the title says, there was just one little problem regarding ETC... they took forever to come on, thanks to Biohazard taking forever to come on! It was almost midnight and ETown still weren't on, so I got tired of waiting and left... but, the show wasn't a total loss, as I enjoyed Madball, Biohazard, Shai Hulud, and Negative Sky... However, I still am a bit bummed about not seeing ETown... Starland Ballroom is a great venue, but they need to be more organized when it comes to band's set times.. if more than 4 bands are playing, a 7 PM start time for the show is not necessarily a good idea, it should start around 6, so the main headliner won't go on so late... This happened back in December when Kix played at Starland, it was a 7 PM start time and they didnt go on till 10:45... But, I have seen ETC before and they are good live.. Glad to see them making music again and hope they start touring some more, and maybe next time I can actually see them.... Likewise, also glad to see Biohazard active again, hope to see them some more

Hatebreed was amazing as to be expected. E-Town is always great, but forgetting lyrics is not too entertaining.

by curleynj on 1/12/11Starland Ballroom - Sayreville

as always e-town never disappoints and neither did Hatebreed. the sell out and line around the building all night proves that hardcore and metal are alive and well
