this is my 3rd year attending this event. It is always a fun time.
This is my 5th consecutive year attending the convention, and as always, had a great time. I look forward to it every year. It's well run, organized, and an inexpensive entry for a fantasy football league. The people who run the respective drafts at each table do a great job. The only complaints I have are that there should be more tables and chairs set up. I got there at 9:30 and had to stand. Also, I wish there's a way that my son and I could be in the same league. The league is a great way for us to do something together, but we're always in separate leagues. Thank you.
2nd year doing it. It is a blast. The ESPN's guests are great. I would love to see a few more Chicago Athletes come out to it though. Also, the people that run the draft need to have more Football knowledge. Even in round 1, some of the draft leaders don't know the players. Make for a long draft, confusion, and we even had some mistakes on our draft board.
Great experience. Waddle & Jurko are the best. Glad I went, and will definitely go again.
Not worth the price of admission or the trip. They didn't make the schedule of speakers available in advance; microphones didn't work; give always were sparse and bad and they didn't even give draft kits. The draft process was run well but besides that it was really a waste of a Saturday.
Everything was perfect and fun with lots of information!
I have been to all 9 of these Convention and Championship events and enjoy it a lot. However, the lighting in the room needs to be brighter when we come back to the room after the break for lunch. It's fine to have the room lit more dim for the time where the speakers are on stage. But when it's time to draft our teams, it's hard to read anything when the room is not lit well.
my brother in law and i both enjoyed ourselves and plan on coming back next year. maybe a small autograph session with a former player would be cool
John Clayton is a fount of knowledge. Stephania Bell knows her injuries. Insight into fringe players was awesome.
Fun gathering of fantasy fans from the area. Good seminars and fun dialogue from the ESPN 1000 crew. Definitely worth attending.
