by wyderp on 11/28/12Signature Theatre - Arlingtonfrom the very first words spoken we were drawn into the story. the transition of the twin character kept it engaging, almost interactive. acting/storytelling was top notch, realism was excellent, the fact that it was left unresolved painted an apropos picture of the Iraq war and its effects on those peripheral to it many will attend plays for the simple purpose of refueling their souls on the avant garde. this play offers more, because it is not a cliche, it is fresh and reflective and pertinent and may show us a side of our existence we may not notice because the other side has been too busy shopping i have and will continue to recommend Dying City. awesome!
