    Talented, Fun, and Inspiring

by Bob on 9/22/22Ludlow Garage Cincinnati - Cincinnati

Dustbowl Revival was all that and more! Never having head them before, we bought tickets based upon an online sampling...and so glad we did! Truly one of the most talented bands I've heard in a very long time with a rare brass touch that makes the sound jazzy, fun, and oh so very danceable! I was actually dancing in my seat when the band invited the audience to get up and dance! Their music simply makes your soul happy and wanting to dance it all out! I was also equally inspired by the timely and direct messages of their music which addresses contemporary social issues within the context of beautiful and lively sounds. I left happy, contemplative, and wanting to hear more!

    LOVED THEM!

by hks on 6/27/19Tralf - Buffalo

I thought I was going to see a tribute band. They did a few covers of 70's/80's songs (really well) but did mostly their own tunes. I LOVED THE DUSTBOWL REVIVAL!! The female singer was cool and had a great voice. It was fun to watch all of them groove on stage. Their music brought me to a familiar place but with a new spin. I would see them again whenever I have the chance.

    by S. on 1/28/19American Theatre - Hampton

good mix of sounds, band members and abilities. Loved the tried, true and original music of these talented performers. Was one of the best shows ever. I will be back next year and will buy tickets for all three nights. This was an awesome performance. Many thanks to the American Theater for putting this on again.

    Outstanding

by jack & judy on 1/28/19American Theatre - Hampton

Truthfully did not know what to expect as we have never seen this group. They exceeded all our expectations! Great music, great style, much fun and energy, in short, a genuine crowd pleaser. Also, what better place to perform than the American Theater!! Doesn't get any better than this. Great fun, we would go again.

Rarely have I seen a band with the talent, wit, respect, and humor of this one. What a fantastic new discovery!

    Dustbowl Revival

by Stan on 1/28/19American Theatre - Hampton

Very entertaining ensemble, they were engaging and were able to get an audience probably much older then they usually play for up and involved in the show. Each member was given the opportunity to display their individual talents, none disappointed. My only criticism was though the instrumentation was exceptional, the volume was too high for a space the size of the American Theater and drowned out much of the vocals.

    Fantastic show!

Sometimes you think... should I really see (insert performer)...again... it will be the same stuff. Not so with Dustbowl Revival... this band throws a party! They are all so talented ... their enthusiasm lights up the crowd. Caution: you will likely be exhausted but happily so.

    Eh...Just Eh

by Dave64nj on 9/2/18Port City Music Hall - Portland

The show was disappointing. There were 8 performers who sounded like 8 performers playing separately from one another. Plus I came expecting to hear more bliuegrass-type music that I had heard on old albums. Not only didn’t I get that but they played multiple covers from other bands. Bizarre. And the male lead was really distracting. I won’t be going back to see them.
