Disappointed

DUKE DUMONT IN CONCERT:
Grammy-nominated British DJ and producer Duke Dumont is a master of anthemic deep house tracks that combine soulful vocals and irresistible beats. At his live sets Dumont spins a booty-shaking mix of original tracks, remixes, and rare bootlegs, conjuring up an intoxicating vibe that can make even the largest arena feel like an intimate dance club full of your best friends. Dumont has been a staple on both the dance charts and the club circuit ever since his banger “Need U (100%)” first blew up in 2013, and it’s easy to see why crowds love him as he mans the decks at his euphoric live shows. Whether he’s dropping in a remix of AlunaGeorge or getting adrenaline pumping with originals like “Won’t Look Back”, Dumont always keeps the energy high, the inhibitions low, and the beats flowing at his unforgettable live performances.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Duke Dumont, aka Adam George Dyment, was born in 1982 in the London suburb of Harrow. Under the mentorship of famed producer Switch, Dumont cut his teeth in the mid-‘00s remixing pop songs by artists like Lily Allen and Bat for Lashes. In 2007 he released his debut EP Regality, following up a year later with The Dominion Dubs EP. After releasing a mix in 2010 for legendary London nightclub Fabric, Dumont relocated to the countryside to focus on original material. The move paid off – in 2013 he topped the UK Singles Chart with his official debut single “Need U (100%). His sophomore single “I Got U” also reached No. 1 in the UK, leading to extensive touring and eventually earning him a Grammy nomination for Best Dance Recording. Dumont has been on fire ever since, blowing minds on tour with his epic sets and blowing up the charts with tracks like “Won’t Look Back” (2014) and “The Giver (Reprise)”.

Venue is amazing & light show was spectacular! Had a great time
The opening act played for the first hour and a half. When Duke Dumont came on we were expecting a 2 and a half hour show being that it was an extended 4 hour show. NOOOO, he (Duke Dumont) played for 4 hours straight and then some. The laser show throughout the performance was cool. Would highly recommend to anyone that likes Duke Dumont!
Duke Dumont is him. The ultimate groove music to dance to all night. He will take your soul right from your body making you release everything you’ve been holding back in life and let it all out during his set. If you want to feel like you’ve rebirthed, go see Duke Dumont. If you want to let loose and have the best time of your life, go see Duke Dumont. Let him take you away.
The event began at 10:30 PM. We had to leave at 12:05 AM without even having had an opportunity to see the artist. It would be great to know the more accurate event timeline before buying tickets.
Crowd packed into tiny dance area with ample space around the sides, restricted to tables. The people in the tables area knew it was lame so they came to the dance floor which was already overcrowded. Opening DJ was on forever, and he wasn’t very good. Crowd was not feeling him. Headliner starts way late, almost 1am. Crowd gets into it for a bit, but at 2am the speakers just cut mid-song, indicting the show was over. Won’t be back. Would have paid to be somewhere else that night.
Duke started playing at 12.40am, kind of a turn off. People were super drunk and annoying by then. The sound was horrible after Avante, very saturated. I literally left, don’t want my to lose my hearing
I had so much with one of my friends, Duke was incredible, the energy of the event, people around us and the place were nice!
Amazing! The light show was awesome he was awesome. Thanks Duke dumont
Duke Dumont played an amazing set but I wish he would've played longer. Having an opener play for 3 hours is unreasonable considering the main act was 1.5 hours. He was great though, if you have a chance to see him BUY THE TICKETS.
