About

Dru Hill is back! This smooth and sexy R&B quartet became a household name back in the 90s, thanks to hits like “How Deep Is Your Love” and the solo career of Dru Hill member Sisqo. Now, with a new album coming in 2014, and a successful live show, a whole new generation is falling for Dru Hill. In concerts, they still show off the signature mix of cool R&B and hip-hop sung in flawless four-part harmony, with original members Sisqo, Jazz, and Nokio joined by new addition Tao. Their set includes a mix of old favorites and new tracks, like “Love MD," off their 2010 album "InDRUpendence Day."

Live shows have always shown Dru Hill at their best, ever since they were snapped up by Island Records when a scout saw them singing for crowds in a Baltimore-area fudge shop. After being snapped up, their 1996 self-titled debut album went platinum and spawned their Top 5 debut “Tell Me” and No. 1 hits "In My Bed” and "Never Make a Promise.” They soon became one the hottest tickets around, distinguishing themselves from many of the '90s era boy bands by writing their own songs, producing their own records, and displaying serious singing talent. Their second album, "Enter The Dru," went double-platinum, but the band’s bleach-blonde dancing machine Sisqo was attracting attention all on his own. Dru Hill parted ways for a while, but now they’re back and eager to prove themselves once more. "InDRUpendence Day" quickly climbed up the Billboard top 30, and now the band will be touring the US throughout 2014 and getting ready to release its upcoming album, "The Second Coming."

    Near Perfect

by Tania on 3/30/24Raising Canes River Center Arena - Baton Rouge

Great parking proximity and cost. The concert started an hour late. However, the lineup and performers were phenomenal. Food quality and cost left a lot to be desired. All the performers came out on stage around 11:15 and Dru Hill had not yet performed even though this seemed like the culminating act. We left shortly thereafter without being sure if Dru Hill actually performed or not.

I’m a true Dru Hill fan for life!! Feel good music 😎

by Cookie C. on 3/28/24Raising Canes River Center Arena - Baton Rouge

It was awesome dot com!! I don’t miss a Dru Hill concert at all. If I have to miss it in my city (N.O.) or State, I would definitely be on the 1st flight to their next destination for sure. However, I enjoyed every performer; it was a great show! The music from this era brings me back, and reminds me of some of the happiest days of my life. Needless to say, as usual, I had no voice the next day😂. Shoutout to all the artists, and also the crews behind the scenes for your continued hard work & dedication to your fans. We love u 😘

    Refreshing!!!

by Joe on 3/27/24Raising Canes River Center Arena - Baton Rouge

I've been a huge Dru Hill fan since day 1, but unfortunately, I had never been to any of their past concerts. The performance was not only refreshing, it was riveting! The voices, the dance moves, and their ability to whip a crowd into a frenzy was everything I had hoped for. Then there was the bonus. Getting to see most of the original crew together again, including Scola and Playa was an overload of musical talent. I will literally never forget that special moment!

The Kickback concert was everything and more. I am an 80s baby and when I tell you the groups I grew up with has not missed a beat. I am a huge Ginuwine fan since day one, and he was amazing. I can't wait until the next one.

    Could’ve been better

by MrsAntoine on 3/26/24Raising Canes River Center Arena - Baton Rouge

I would have liked if they sung the songs how they go and not all that ad-libbing. It always seems as though they sing the same songs and not the songs we hope for. It didn’t feel like a real concert just a quick way to make money. Just to show up
