    Enjoyable experience

by sjawmo on 4/9/24Moore Theatre - Seattle

Jane is a good storyteller (funny as well as deeply touching at times); it was interesting hearing about her life and her life's work. It's sort of a blend of entertainment but with the distinct purpose of raising money for and interest in her foundation. I saw her at the Moore in Seattle. It was a good venue for her presentation. My only complaint is that they started 15 minutes late and provided no explanation which felt disrespectful to the patrons.

    The amazing Jane Goodall

by Pam on 4/4/24Beacon Theatre - New York

I have always been so inspired by Jane and seeing her in person, and hearing her story was such a special moment for me. She has dedicated her whole life to Saving, the gorillas and many more animals including insects, and birds. Jane has always been an inspiration for me, and once I retire, which is coming real soon I plan to get involved and help where I can. Jane, I’ve always loved you and admired and looked up to you for your dedication your whole life to our planet and the animals that deserve so much better. Kind Regards, Pam Musinski

    Inspiring Role Model

by EmilyB on 4/4/24Beacon Theatre - New York

I have long admired Jane for her ground-breaking animal behavioral research, and I was excited to finally see her in person. It was a wonderful experience. Hearing her talk about her life, her mother, her work and her desire to make the world a better place for humans and for animals was inspiring and moving. I know she has been a role model for young people everywhere. It was a privilege to attend.

Lovely evening with my hero! The theater needs improvement.

by Dee on 4/4/24Beacon Theatre - New York

It was wonderful to finally have my dream of seeing Jane Goodall speak in person come true. She was an absolute delight! Hearing her speak and every story she told will stand out in my memory for many years to come. What spoiled part of the evening for us was initially arriving at the line to get into the theater and hearing a ticket holder and theater security throwing vulgarities at each other. It’s definitely not something I expected to hear, standing in line for an event such as this. We stood outside for a very long time, and the entrance process to get into the theater was extremely slow. So slow, in fact that the lecture had already begun when I entered the theater, and they were still many many people waiting to get in who despite being on time, missed a large part of the show. The other disappointing factor that ruined part of the lecture for us, was the fact that we could hear the theater employees speaking very loudly to each other in the lobby throughout the entire lecture. They were practically shouting at each other, as if they were standing outside a rock concert, and not one person with a microphone speaking to an audience. I would absolutely purchase tickets to see Jane Goodall speak again in person, but I do not think I would ever return to this venue, the Beacon, for a lecture.

    Disappointed

by Kacey on 4/4/24Beacon Theatre - New York

Jane was amazing, from what I could hear which wasn’t much. The sound was horrible where I was sitting. I literally had to cup my ear to try and catch some of what she was saying. I missed a half if not more of what she said.

    Such an inspiration!!

by CC on 4/4/24Beacon Theatre - New York

I only knew of Dr. Jane Goodall based off of a very limited understanding of her work. However, going to see her speak and hear her story was SO impactful. She was able to translate her findings and work to how we, as humans, can make the world a better place. Love her and loved this event!

    INSPIRATIONAL! LIVING LEGEND!

by Kay Tea on 4/4/24Beacon Theatre - New York

Jane's stories of tenacity, compassion, and conservation were incredible to hear. Her achievements were amazing, particularly at a time when women didn't do science field work like that. Jane believes in all of us and gives HOPE that we could change the world. Don't miss hearing this LIVING LEGEND!

    Jane’s talk

by Johnny on 4/2/24Moore Theatre - Seattle

I was spellbound during her entire talk. The songs added, to make it a magical evening. I was very motivated from her talk to do my part in helping our environment thrive and not be diminished by human activities.

    Absolutely amazing!

by Hank on 4/2/24Moore Theatre - Seattle

Jane Goodall has to be the most legendary and influential animal behaviorist and environmentalist of past, present, and future generations. She is positive, enthusiastic, and straight forward in her presentation that spurs all audiences to concrete and effective solutions for our collective future. At at 90 years of age, she is sharp as a tack and so inspirational. What an amazing blessing for our world!
