My wife and I enjoyed this years event, but not as much as last years. We wish there would have been more entertainers instead of one main group. also, we felt there was to much country and western, and not enough 50s and 60s Doo Wop. You could tell by the crowd they felt the same. Over all we enjoyed it and will come back next year if there are more great entertainers.
I had no expectations for this venue. Just thought I would enjoy hearing the music. Was I suprised! Every one of the acts were at their best and a truly entertaining, audience-involved, energetic performance by each of the three acts You could tell they really enjoyed performing and interacted with the audience. It was spectacular! I will never miss another Doo-Wop performance again! The backup musicians, the sound quality, costumes, everything was amazing for me, along with the music they performed.
I had VIP tickets for a pre-show meet and greet and all 3 stars attended. Jay and the Americans, Johnny Tillotson and an original member of the Shirelles all came. They were more than happy to sign autographs, take pictures and just talk. The concert itself was a travel back in time, and many hit songs were performed by all . Just a great, great event.
