    Great Vibe

by Mike on 4/9/24The Bluestone - Columbus

This is one of the best and most fun shows I've been to in many years. Everyone singing along, hanging together, and truly enjoying themselves. I talked to several people who'd driven several hours to be there. I'd seen Donnie Iris several times, and he and the band has never failed to deliver, so I knew what to expect there. Nice to see Kevin Valentine back behind the drums again. The Vindys as an opener were a great surprise - soon to be on tour with Pat Benatar. Great, great, show, all the way around.

Too Much To Pay To Park

by MAHA on 4/9/24The Bluestone - Columbus

Donnie Iris put on a great show. Too bad The Bluestone which is a wonderful venue has to be so greedy and ask $10 to park.

Not overly crowded. Easy access to bar and restrooms. Friendly workers. Just a great night out!

    King still Rules

by THE HOBBIT on 4/9/24The Bluestone - Columbus

Grew up the same area as Donnie back in his early days and frequent the clubs he played at. After all these years he is still King Cool and still has it in him to give his fans the best every time he takes the stage. Keep it up there Kool we still love seeing you out there.

    Donnie Irish rules bluestone dump

by Brian on 4/9/24The Bluestone - Columbus

Donnie Iris ruled as usual and the vindales were the opening act and they were great The blue stone arena leaves much to be desired. I asked them weeks before in two separate emails if there is chairs and how many there is. If it's standing room only they did not reply. And yes it is standing room with about 10 bar stools around if you're lucky enough to get there. Ticketmaster said the concert starts at 6:30 which wasn't true. We didn't even get into the arena till 6:50 and the concert didn't start till 7:30 or later

    Iris Amazes

by Jim on 4/8/24UPMC Events Center - Moon Township

Unbelievable return to the stage after the health issues let alone being 81. We were at the 80th & there was an obvious dip in Donnie’s stamina & some vocals but totally understandable. I think he will continue to regain his strength but we also aren’t sure if it wasn’t the last time to see him. We know he will do what is best for his health & family. God bless one of the all time Pittsburgh greats!

UPMC event center has horrible sound nix

by Donnie is king cool on 3/27/24UPMC Events Center - Moon Township

This was the 2nd time going to see Donnie Iris at the UPMC event center. The sound mix this time was horrible. It was hard to enjoy the show because the sound mix was so off. Not sure I would go back for another show

    GREAT - all things considered

by Mike on 3/25/24UPMC Events Center - Moon Township

Donnie was great as always. Personally, I think that he should have taken a little more recovery time from his bladder cancer. You could see where his energy level was a little low. Of course at 80+ years old and with the cancer recovery, we all would be a little less "energetic". Knowing Donnie though, he's a "show must go on"type of performer and to that end, he has NEVER disappointed his fans. I wish him continued good luck with his cancer - no relapses. He's a great guy and a great performer. The Cruisers were on their "A"game and gave Donnie a lot of support.
