    BEST FESTIVAL ON THE COAST

    Doheny Blues festival is a laid back bring your chairs and blankets and sit on the lawn festival. Great views of the pacific coast and if you wanted to leave and take a dip in the ocean its only a few steps away. More older mainstream music than blues on main stages but the Sailor Stage/ Back porch always has good blues bands. The promoters after over a dozen years have it down and everything is pretty well laid out and running smooth. Food choices are O.K but I prefer to walk to great restaurants a few blocks outside the festival for Great food Highlights this year were Buddy Guy , Keb Mo, Govt Mule, Greg Almon and Doobie Brothers. I have attended this festival every year since it started...ALWAYS FUN !!
