About

The Chicks are one of country music’s most influential and boundary-pushing groups. Formed in Dallas, Texas, in 1989 by sisters Emily Strayer and Martie Maguire, The Chicks (formerly known as the Dixie Chicks) rocketed to pop stardom with the addition of lead vocalist Natalie Maines in 1995. The multi-platinum trio would go on to win 12 Grammy Awards and become the best-selling female band of all time in the U.S., with 33 million albums sold worldwide. By blending honky-tonk with bluegrass and soaring pop vocals, The Chicks appealed to a diverse audience that stretched far beyond their country roots. Signature hits like 1999’s “Cowboy Take Me Away” and 1998’s “Wide Open Spaces,” along with their bluegrass virtuosity, saw The Chicks go from opening for Tim McGraw in 1999 to headlining massive concert tours that have sold over $100 million in tickets. 2020’s Gaslighter (produced by Jack Antonoff) was The Chicks’ first album in 14 years, and the catalyst for a 2023 tour where country-pop superstar Maren Morris will join the trio on a string of dates.

Great show! Great to have them back!!

    by Knp012 on 1/30/24

Great show! Loved The Chicks when they first hit the scene, and I love them now!! The music, the vocals, the setlist - everything was awesome! Please tour again in 2024! I would love to bring my daughters with me next time.

    The message was heard!

    by K.L on 1/3/24

Absolutely wonderful show. Great vocals and stage set was easy to look at. Love that there were some older songs sprinkled into the new stuff. March March was great to see live and you could feel the message The Chicks were putting out there. I personally have always respected the group for standing their ground and voicing their opinions despite knowing that someones feelings are being hurt. I will definitely be seeing them live again!

    Miss the Dixie Chicks

    by Travlnthru on 10/31/23

Drove 3 hrs for concert. We ended up leaving early. Miss the classics and original Dixie Chicks. The Chicks sound decent but the show is very proudly political. Personally that’s not for me and just wanted to hear some good music especially the sounds I grew up on. I guess I’ll just stick with my older albums.

    Too Political

by Catfish on 10/21/23T-Mobile Center - Kansas City

The old songs were good to hear and then it got political and they lost our interest!! Emily & Marti are great musicians and were a joy to watch!

    Incredible experience

by I know earl on 10/13/23

Was my husbands first concert. I saw the Chicks the last time they were in Nashville floor seats. This was an incredible experience. My husband absolutely loved the concert. Great views - wonderful music. For the record - my whole sibling situation grew up on the Chicks. We absolutely had a wonderful time. I only wish we had an encore!

    GREAT

    by S. B. on 10/9/23

I absolutely loved their concert. They performed amazing!! Did all the classic hits plus some of their new hits !! Overall had a great time laughing and enjoying it with my mother. The political thing was a big thing in their concert but they still have it their all !!! Would recommend ❤️

    Sad

by Leisa on 10/8/23Food City Center - Knoxville

I was very disappointed with the concert due to all the political agenda that was being pushed. I just wanted to listen to some good music and have fun with my friends. It was very different from the other concerts that I have attended this year.
