    Definitely recommend

by MomOf2 on 10/26/23California Theatre of the Performing Arts - San Bernardino

This play was so beautiful. Seeing everyone dressed up as they entered in the venue was just the start. We scaned out passes and entered the building where we were quickly escorted to our seats by a sweet gentleman. The stage was decorated in ways I've only seen on movies and the whole cast fit their roles perfectly. The dancing singing moving running laughing was perfect in every way. The only bad part was having to pay $5 for a 16oz bottle of water. Definitely looking into going back for the two other plays they will be having... 10/10 recommend

    Cute show, enjoyable

by Fontana03 on 10/25/23California Theatre of the Performing Arts - San Bernardino

This was a pleasant musical with a talented cast! It was well done! My only complaint was the sets were rather simple and could be improved for future shows.

High school quality with slightly better voices

by Josh T on 10/24/23California Theatre of the Performing Arts - San Bernardino

We tried getting into the play but we couldn’t. It was humorously bad. The stage, the quality of the effects (lack there off) and the acting was just very low quality. Like come on. The actor playing the prince was 1.5 foot shorter than the actor of the beast and the microphones cut out. The theater is crowded and I’d suggest to use the bathroom before going because it’s a mess during intermission (there’s only two in the whole building) I can’t recommend this theater or the show.

Beauty & the Beast for all ages

by The Mrs Costanza on 10/24/23California Theatre of the Performing Arts - San Bernardino

The play was just amazing. The characters were dressed and acted so amazingly. Myself and my daughter just absolutely adored Belle & Gaston, Beast & all the household characters were just astonishing! Would definitely recommend it and the bits of laughter were the cherry on top.

This theater is a classic location with beautiful architecture good flowing air conditioning, fantastic acoustics comfortable seating, and Top Notch service! We were guided to our seats, helped at the door, purchased goodies, beverages, and snacks. Highly recommend this venue. It was a perfect show!!!

NOT A BROADWAY SHOW!! SO BAD

    by Jeri Clark on 9/11/23

It’s so so bad y’all. If you see this at the California Theater in San Bernardino you WILL be disappointed. This is a community theater with nice costumes and bad everything else. The sound is bad. The dancing nonexistent and they forgot their lines most of the way through. be our guest was Lumiere and a cardboard spoon and Fork swaying side to side. Just don’t. I saw Broadway tour of Newsies for $25 at the Segerstrom. Just don’t.

    Not what I was expecting...

by Raf on 5/23/23Hackensack Meridian Health Theatre at the Count Basie Center - Red Bank

The performance of Beauty and the Beast was mediocre. I have seen the broadway show several times and know the show very well. Some of the lead actors at the Count Basie theater production of Beauty and the Beast forgot their lines, while others muffled their lines and some of the actors couldn't even pronounce simple french words like "bonjour"! The actress who played Belle was good, but the Beast was not. I have seen other high school performing arts shows that were very good. This one for me, was a disappointment.

    Beauty and the beast musical

by Eve on 5/21/23Hackensack Meridian Health Theatre at the Count Basie Center - Red Bank

The musical was nice. I was expecting a little more for a Broadway show. I’ve watched another musical which was way superior that this one. The seats were good, we can see the stage clearly without obstruction There was no merchandise to purchase. That disappointed me a little because I was hoping to get something as I did from the previous musicals I had attended
