Disney's Broadway musical, "The Lion King" tells the story of a young lion cub named Simba as he struggles to accept the responsibilities of adulthood and his destined role as King. "The Lion King" plays at the New Amsterdam Theatre, Disney's new Broadway Theatre. Winner of six 1998 Tony Awards including Best Musical and Best Director (Julie Taymor).
