About

With the 2013 release of their chart-topping debut album Settle, British electronic duo Disclosure became one of the most talked-about new acts of the year. Featuring numerous collaborators including Edward MacFarlane of Friendly Fires, Jamie Woon, Jessie Ware, and London Grammar, the album's pop-oriented garage and house sound was both a critical and commercial success, debuting at No. 1 on the UK Albums Chart. The record's first three singles - "Latch (feat. Sam Smith)", "White Noise (feat. AlunaGeorge)", and "You & Me (feat. Eliza Doolittle)" - were among the year's most ubiquitous club hits, all placing within the UK Top 20 and garnering the album a prestigious Mercury Prize nomination. Brothers Guy and Howard Lawrence grew up in Reigate, Surrey, England, making their debut as Disclosure in 2010 with the funky dubstep tracks "Offline Dexterity" and "Street Light Chronicle." After following up with the Carnival EP in 2011, the brothers became increasingly sought out for remix work on the strength of their considerable production skills. In 2012, they picked up their first significant U.K. radio attention with the release of the "Tenderly"/"Flow" single and The Face EP, which featured their hugely popular remix of Jessie Ware's "Running." In 2013, Disclosure continued to build on their already-stellar reputation with a string of impressive live concerts, wowing ticket holders at the Glastonbury Festival in England before embarking on a critically-acclaimed world tour.

    DJ Set

by MatixSk8er on 6/23/22The Pool at Talking Stick Resort - Scottsdale

I was excited to see Disclosure but was mostly bummed out. I thought they would play the music they have released. In 2 hours I could only recall them playing 4 of their songs. The rest was mostly filler with repetitive beats. It reminded me of an opener to a festival where they play the same beat for 10 minutes at a time and then a drop comes up, only to drop the exact beat that has already been playing the whole time. I find it uncreative. I was expecting an awesome set and I was ultimately bored with it, it was more of a dj set than anything.

Long wait to get in and unauthorized charge on card

by Sam on 6/22/22The Pool at Talking Stick Resort - Scottsdale

We waited about an hour to get in and got there around 6. The line was wrapped several times through the open area and was managed by one person. There was way too many people in the event! I also bought two drinks at one of the bars and signed the receipt for a $28 charge with tip (expensive) but later on the charge posted to my card for $51. Something is not right with this place.

Disclosure was great, venue needs more workers.

by Music Lover on 6/22/22The Pool at Talking Stick Resort - Scottsdale

Disclosure was obviously great, us fans always wish they would play more originals but they still put on a fun show and had us dancing. The line to get in was long even 2 hours after doors. The drink lines were long. I don't know if it's the fact that it's a worker's job market right now or if Talking Stick just doesn't hire enough staff. I hope they add an additional entry lane or drink stand in the future. 4 stars reflects not the musicians but the long waits.

    Oh my goodness

by Rome on 6/22/22The Pool at Talking Stick Resort - Scottsdale

Im very appreciative that I got the opportunity to see disclosure. And for 50 freaking dollars. And they played for 2 hours!?!? Straight banger after banger with two encores you kidding me !!??? Best concert I’ve been to at release and it’s even more impressive the big name talents you guys are offering. I’ve seen the biggest Djs that only play in huge venues here right in the valley. Y’all killing it. While creating amazing experiences. Book them again in the future if possible please!! Can’t wait to see who else you bring.

    Same song

by Slow Flow on 6/21/22The Pool at Talking Stick Resort - Scottsdale

They played the same song for 2 hours and finished with Latch, they played no other hits. Literally just the same house beat on a loop for 2 hours, Disclosure was drunk on tequila

    Terrible set up

by RT on 6/21/22The Pool at Talking Stick Resort - Scottsdale

The line was so ridiculously long to get in along with all the drink lines. I’ve seen better organization at events that have 150-350k people. Missed lot of the show because I spent it in line.

    It was alright

by Animagalassie on 6/21/22The Pool at Talking Stick Resort - Scottsdale

Tbh I expected more, they went on stage at 8:30, they just played 2 of their most popular songs: latch and white noise. And the sound system wasn’t that great. I enjoyed tho but I feel that it could’ve been better

    Show was great, venue HORRIBLE

by Cash on 6/21/22The Pool at Talking Stick Resort - Scottsdale

The venue was awful/unorganized. The ticketing and check in process had a huge bottle neck. There was only 2 people checking in guests and the lines zig zag Ed all through the courtyard. It probably took us 1.5 hours to get into the venue. The drink lines took 20-30 mins. The venue cannot handle this type of volume. It was frustrating and put me in a bad mood for the concert. Disclosure was awesome and very entertaining!

    Good music, terrible lines

by Nickelow on 6/21/22The Pool at Talking Stick Resort - Scottsdale

Once we got into the show it was great. Good speakers and not too crowded, pools were clean as well. But the logistics were awful. It took over an hour to get into the show, with possibly the longest line I have ever seen to get into any event anywhere. Once we were in, it took 30 minutes to get a drink. These are solvable problems but definitely had an impact on the overall enjoyment of the evening.
