About

Don’t miss the strictly limited engagement of The New York Times CRITICS’ PICK that the Associated Press calls “guaranteed laughs and side-splittingly funny” and Entertainment Weekly declares is “delightful and ingenious!”  It is "the funniest show since THE BOOK OF MORMON!” (Z100)

Set in the wildest decade ever, DISASTER! delivers earthquakes, tidal waves, infernos and unforgettable hits like “Knock On Wood,” “Hooked On A Feeling,” “Sky High,” “I Am Woman” and “Hot Stuff” with a cast of Broadway Tony® Award winning stars of Rent, Rock of Ages, Hairspray, Xanadu, Guys and Dolls and The Producers.

Don’t just take our word for it. See for yourself why audiences and critics are wild for this hilarious homage to the era of bellbottoms, platform shoes and the hustle. From the moment the glitter ball starts spinning you’ll be dancing in your seat…and rolling in the aisles.

Disaster never had a dull minute

by Slverlady on 5/11/16Nederlander Theatre - New York

Although the plot had lots of holes in it, the performers were so great you never worried about it. It is fast paced and the singing and acting never stop. For a fun evening, spend it at Disaster.

    Hysterical

by Jfmjwm on 5/10/16Nederlander Theatre - New York

Had to be the funniest show I have ever seen. I would have went again if it didn't close this weekend. Seriously the funniest show ever ! Singing was amazing too!

    Disaster that it closed

by namu6500 on 5/10/16Nederlander Theatre - New York

Terrific comedy/musical with a great cast that all had superb voices and perfect comedy timing. Far more enjoyable than the overrated, over priced Hamilton that had no real music-just clever rambling talk songs that nobody could go out singing. 16 Tony nominations tells you about our theater critics who have closed down some of the best musicals over the past 20 years. Despite good reviews I assume poor marketing for Disaster.

    Truly a disaster

by Susansandiego on 5/5/16Nederlander Theatre - New York

This should not be on stage. And certainly not charging for it. Were totally misled by reviews and looking at cast. Want my time and money back. And very rarely feel that about theatre.

    Fun Times

Laughter from start to finish. The nun is outstanding!!!! Highly recommend this show. If you like good music and plenty of laughs, this is your show. Took my 18 year old and wife and we were all impressed.

    Disaster

It was such a fun silly show - I loved how they sang all 70's music to go with the story!

    Dancing in My Seat!

by SoniaZ on 5/4/16Nederlander Theatre - New York

Loved the show! I bought the tickets because I wanted to see Adam Pascal, but he wasn't performing the day I went. I was really disappointed. His understudy did a great job, but I specifically bought tickets to see him. I love his voice and I've been fortunate to see him in Rent and Aida. I would love to see the show again with him in it!
