    missing characters!

by tlily on 4/15/15New Jersey Performing Arts Center - Newark

My daughter loved it but she did notice that two main characters were not part of the show. I notice some technical difficulties but other than that the show was very entertaining and really cute.

This was my 3 year old son's first show ever. He loved it! He hasn't stopped singing since we left.

    Good Show

by Corpsmancrystal on 2/24/15Balboa Theatre - San Diego

My son absolutely loved Dinosaur Train Live. Even I was singing along to all the songs from the show. It was a good time and I would def recommend it. The only negative thing I have to say is that it did start almost 30 mins late which is practically an eternity to a toddler.

    Disappointed Patents

by DinoTrainBlues on 2/24/15Balboa Theatre - San Diego

Overall my husband and I gave this show one star for the following reasons: The show itself was repetitive and slow. They sang the same four songs two or three times. Most of the puppeteers performances were sadly lack luster (Not at all like the episodes, which are full of energy and exciting to both my young boys) Overall the structure of the preformance and puppeteering was painfully amateur in nature...We were very disappointed with the performance and expected so much more from a Jim Henson's production.

Dinosaur train was short and distracting

by Tomtomsnana on 2/24/15Balboa Theatre - San Diego

I took my 4 yr old autistic grandson, 15 mins late starting, played for 20 min and 15 min break then 20 min play. The kids were entertained during first half but lost interest during last. The puppeteers should have been all black suited, they were distracting

Don't waste your money, not worth the expense.

by Beyon on 2/24/15Balboa Theatre - San Diego

We were very excited in seeing the Jim Hensen puppet show, but the ruse began with the use of his name to sell very expensive tickets for an unimaginative show! Shame on the producers. Poorly done, this overated puppet show was comprised of 6 actors in dirty black clothes, harnessed in visible mechanics parading back and forth on the stage waving their hands in a feeble attempt to entertain the crowd. Our kids were so bored they asked to go home several times. We stuck it out only to see a giant pink Dino for the painful but quick ending. Don't waste your money! Save it for Disneyland or Knottsberry farm, Cirqe du Soleil, Disney on Ice, they at least have professional productions that are far better than this mess.

very cool show, just the right length for small children. Didn't know what to expect. Initially life-size-puppeteers was distracting, but became interesting once got used to it. Neat to see the puppeteers expressions and puppets movements synched.

    Jim Henson is a genius

by Anonymous on 2/24/15Balboa Theatre - San Diego

I loved this show as much as my 4 year old grandson. It kept his attention the whole way. I loved the interaction with the audience. Those puppets were amazing.

Not bad, but could be way better

by music4fun2 on 2/13/15Valley Performing Arts Center - Northridge

Had higher expectations for this. thought would be more lively and more singing/dancing to engage the kids. Story line was slow and what was with the "elvis" king -- not something that the kids would relate to at all!
