I have been listening to the Dharma Bums since i was about 10 years old(20 years). Always fealt the music industry missed the boat with them....and after finally getting to see them live i know i was so right! they come across as genuinly good guys who love making music and playing it for their fans. They looked great and sounded better than ever. High energy, wonderfull music and loyal fans...what else could you ask for?
Absolutely outstanding. I saw their "final" show almost 20 years ago at the Off Ramp and they haven't missed a beat. The predecessor of all the Northwest bands of the '90's that gained so much notoriety. Great band, great chemistry, great energy. Welcome Back!
Derby absolutely rocked!! Young Fresh Fellows were good. Dharma Bums shoulda stayed in Silverton. Maybe the pot smoke from their concert would have stayed there with them. Left 2/3 way through DBs set--couldn't take it anymore--the music and the smoke. Would have left sooner but got a chance to talk to Derby. They were very cool! Venue was cool. Had never been to the Crystal Ballroom before. Would go again if the right band(s) played. NOT DB!
this was an awesome show. they sounded great after 18 years apart.
The Dharma Bums were amazing! The music rocked, Jeremy Wilson's vocals were as good as they were 18 years ago if not better. They were not only good musically but were quite entertaining as well. I was very impressed with their agility and ability to keep going singing several songs after the audience begged for a encore. This was the best Rock n Roll show I have seen in 18 years!
