Dessa Tickets

Dessa is an amazing performer - her music more than stands on its own, but her stage presence is absolutely electric. The small, intimate venue of the Constellation Room at the Observatory suited her well, too - I've seen some acts in that venue that didn't know how to make proper use of the smaller space, and that very much was not the case with Dessa. She spent a lot of the evening between songs - and occasionally in the middle of songs - interacting with the crowd, waxing philosophical, and showing a deep respect and appreciation for the venue's staff (even if she did just about give that security guard a heart attack by shouting her out at the end of a song.) She also clearly has a lot of professional and personal respect for her headliners, both of whom were great performances in their own right. I very much recommend seeing her live performances if you get a chance - this wasn't my first Dessa concert, and I look forward to seeing her perform again in the future.

This was our third time seeing Dessa and we are always happy. She does a great job interacting with the crowd. Her music is truly something unique and is a perfect mix of rap, hip hop, poetry, and pop. She picks amazing openers as well. We do wish she came out afterwards for pictures and autographs like she usually does but we still left happy

Constantly creating and evolving, Dessa's performance did not disappoint! Her energy, sense of humor, wit and intelligence comes through every single song! Grateful she's chosen the path she's on and that she stops in the Midwest regularly. Fan for life!

Hands down... One of the greatest performances ever ! I've seen Dessa 4 times, and this was my favorite show. What a talent, and what a powerful stage presence she delivers. The set list was impeccable. I was in tears at moments.

Whoever the sound engineer was for this show did a terrible job. I could barely hear, let alone understand any of her lyrics because the drums drowned out everything else. Every other time I’ve seen her live it’s been amazing. Just like every other show I’ve seen at the Neptune has been an overwhelmingly positive experience. She puts on a great show, I just want to be able to hear it.
