Dennis Wise Tickets

They should call this show "A Family Affair" instead of an Elvis Tribute Show. It's actually not bad if you love Elvis, but there's a few problems with this show that we weren't too happy about. First, there's way too much pre-show. Not only does Dennis' brother do a twangy country western mini-concert, then his wife does a Vegas smoky lounge number (or three), all before the main show actually begins. His son is on the drums, and they certainly like to remind you it's a family talented business. Another thing, recording video is prohibited unless you're family. Are you kidding me? We found this to be so discriminating, unnecessary, and unfair. And lastly, Dennis is a bit aged these days and many of his promo photos are of younger years. The plus sides, he still has some good moves, accomplishes an acceptable Elvis appearance and performance, but his voice doesn't sound much like Elvis. We've recently seen amateurs at the Elvis Tribute Contest in Vegas that blew Dennis away. Unless, you're family or close friends (which filled half the room), you're going to love this show. Wouldn't expect otherwise. But for anyone else who's looking for an older rendition with a touch of ego-mania and convalescent home audience, would also enjoy this show.
