Del Amitri has been one of my favorite groups since 1991, and the last time I saw them live was in Boston in the late 90’s. What a thrill it was to see them live again and hear them still sounding GREAT! The venue is fairly small, as was the audience, so I was able to see the guys from about 15 feet away through much of the concert. LOVED the show!
I will leave it simple, I am so disappointed in that venue. I purchased my ticket three months prior to the show. I purposely chose the first seat balcony so that I could actually see a show. It is rare when I am able to view the stage as people are always standing in front of me. No where on my ticket did it say obstructed view. Yet, when I arrived at my seat, I couldn't see one member of the band other than the drummer. There was a large speaker in front of me. How, in good conscience, could they sell a ticket like that? I was and will continue to be infuriated.
After a horrific opening act, the Dels took the stage and did not disappoint. They played a good assortment of tunes from their outstanding catalogue. The sold out crowd loved the band and welcomed every song. Great show! Please Vogel no more opening acts!!!
I first saw Del Amitri in roughly the mid 90's in their "Hey Day"as it were. They were fantastic and I have been a BIG fan ever since. Just saw them this past week in The Vogel in NJ and it was a fantastic show. Played a lot of their classics that most everyone would want to hear. Do yourself a favor and go see them on this U.S. Tour because who knows when or if you might have another chance. Justin sounds as good as ever and the band had what I would consider to be a very tight performance. Hey, after 30 years I think they know what they are doing!
How is it possible that this band isn't playing larger venues? Maybe that's a good thing. Simply one of the best bands out there, period. Justin sounded better than ever. He is a great songwriter! The accompanying musicians are all top notch, Ian was having a ball, his guitar playing is stellar. Keyboard player is their secret weapon, just excellent. Shout out to Tim for turning me on to this band many years ago. I hope they continue to come back to the States and play their wonderful music

Awesome…been waiting to see them for many years and they were in great form and they had a nice balance of the catalogue including the new album. Really enjoyable….brought a friend who had not heard of Del Amitri and he is now a big fan!
If talent were stardom, these boys would be dining with Keith and Mick. Still brilliant, maybe better than ever, touring their new release. The new tracks blended in perfectly with the classics. Damn, I love this band. Hope they keep it going.
Overall great performance. Good mix of latest and back catalog. Band very tight reflecting recent time on the road. All about the music. Highly recommended.
