    Disappointing Venue

    by L. R. on 12/16/19WAMU Theater - Seattle

The music was great! The venue, on the other hand, was perhaps the most restrictive one I’ve ever been to in over 30 years of shows. My tiny bag wasn’t allowed in b/c it wasn’t clear: since I had no vehicle I had to pay $10 for a locker. You couldn’t buy alcohol in the concession area outside the arena & take it to your seat: instead you had to drink it there OR stand in one of the beer garden type areas inside the arena. If you did the latter, you didn’t have access to restrooms unless you had someone to watch your beverage or you’d finished it.

    Seattle show was the best

by Dee on 12/16/19WAMU Theater - Seattle

The show was easy to enter and the lines for food was very short. I thought the price was a little too high but went there for music! The show didn’t disappoint

Acts were good, venue was meh, concessions/drinks were awful

by HonestAbe on 12/14/19WAMU Theater - Seattle

The acts and line-up were good and well-paced. However, the venue and customer experience of WaMu Theater were downright terrible. There was no variety at all in regards to food options with a menu that’s be embarrassing at a little league game. The drink options were also mediocre, with not even a single beer on tap, and constant IDing at every possible opportunity (no wristbands or stamps). We won’t return to this venue, felt like a bad 80s flashback.

    Bad Venue

by MusicFan on 12/14/19WAMU Theater - Seattle

Great music, bad venue if you want a drink you have to stay in the corral. Music gets a 5 star - WaMu a 0 star!!!

    Awesome

by Tom on 12/13/19WAMU Theater - Seattle

First time going to Deck the Hall Ball at Wamu. The acoustics where way better than Key Arena. Was little worried about General Admission finding a seat but was not a problem. It would be nice to have big screens on either side of the stage. When your sitting in the bleachers it's hard to see the bands. Drinks and snacks are way over priced. We got there around 6 and already ran out of Deck the Hall Ball t shirts in our size. Waking around the layout was great. The bar had plenty of servers so never had to wait long. Everybody was super nice. I'll definitely go back next year. Thanks

    Annual Tradition Never Disappoints

by Happy Listener on 12/13/19WAMU Theater - Seattle

As in years past, the Deck The Hall Ball was a great time with a variety of sounds in the best music today. My daughter and I have been enjoying DTHB and Summer Camp for the last few years as a family tradition we really look forward to. In the past, the concert was at Key Arena, but not it's at WAMU Theater which is a much better venue. There was plenty of room for everyone and no matter where you were in the room, the view was good. I liked the open spaces that made it easy to get around to the bathrooms, drinking fountain (cold water yum), concessions, merch, photo booth, and, if you like, there were three large areas for those 21 and over to get a drink. Two of the drinking areas were in the concert area so you could have a cold one without missing the show. The only complaint I have is the time of the week (Tuesday) which makes it harder for kids and adults who have normal jobs to be able to attend the whole show and be able to function the next day. (I know, "okay boomer") But nevertheless, it's true. All in all thought, it's totally worth the sacrifice and My daughter and I will keep going every year. Thanks 107.7 for hosting this great event. Cheers.

    Solid show, terrible venue

by The Pope on 12/13/19WAMU Theater - Seattle

The bands did the best they could but goodness this a terrible venue. Horrific sound, terrible sight lines, and to add insult to injury, they have created "beer jail" where the bar is located outside of the venue altogether or in the back corners with hardly any view of the stage. Always amazing that Live Nation can achieve higher levels of disdain for its customers year after year. On the plus side, the $5 per hanger coat check was surprisingly efficient, so it wasn't all bad.

    Great lineup of acts

    by L. D. on 12/13/19WAMU Theater - Seattle

Well run venue, easy access. My only complaint is the cost and quality of the concessions.

    Several good performances, cold

by Ozzy on 12/13/19WAMU Theater - Seattle

There were some good performances from the bands depending on the type of music you liked. The overall group didn’t seem to blend that well together. The venue was disappointing and has been my last couple of visits. In particular they need to step up the food game. Hot dogs and chicken strips as food options are ridiculous. This isn’t a summer baseball game. The venue has lost its personality and turn on the heat!

    No purses!!

by TPow on 12/13/19WAMU Theater - Seattle

I wasn’t allowed to bring my medium sized purse into the show. I’ve never had that happen at any concert and didn’t receive any notification that this venue had that unusual rule. Then they charged $10 for bag check! Seemed like a scam to get more money from people. Also, the alcohol selection was terrible. But the show was amazing so I guess worth all the crap for the terrible venue.
