Reesa Renee and her band have a level of talent and maturity that is beyond their years. The music is complex with an intricate balance of harmony, syncopation and instrumentation. I LOVED the violins in Release! David Tauler can plan that saxophone. His Happy Birthday solo to the emcee blew everyone away in the room. Shout out to the DMV for producing (2) amazing, young talents!!!
We were left standing first outside the theater, then inside the theater for a total of 40 minutes with no explanation or apology. We were seated at our tables pretty quickly but didn't have our drink orders taken until the first performer had almost completed her set. When we did have our order taken it was because a server from another section was nice enough to notice that we were going to pass out from dehydration. The upstairs area is nicely decorated and sets the mood for the evening. Both performances were good Reesa Renee has an unbelievable amount of energy and was amazing to watch. David Tauler is super talented.
