A tireless touring presence for more than two decades, he never fails to bring the house down with passionate renditions of hits like "Babylon" and "The One I Love" at his intimate live shows. With the 2014 release of his tenth studio album Mutineer, Gray stirred up another round of excitement that will follow him on his next must-see tour.
Manchester-born David Gray got his start playing in punk bands while attending the University of Liverpool, and it was during this time of musical exploration that he discovered his skills as a folk songwriter. He released several albums in the early '90s to critical acclaim, but commercial success eluded him until the 1998 release of his fourth album White Ladder. That album topped the UK Albums Chart and launched him to international superstardom with hit singles like "This Year's Love" and "Babylon", and it remains the top-selling album of all time in Ireland. His success continued in the '00s as he landed four more LPs in the British Top 20, including the chart-topping albums A New Day at Midnight (2002) and Life in Slow Motion (2005). A humble and authentic performer, Gray continues to thrill fans around the world with his raspy croon and heart-rending tunes on perennial ongoing tours.
